Panda — Restaurant in Portales

I have always loved this restaurant that being said I decided to "support local business" after Covid shut everything down. I ordered food here. They served me ROTTEN food. I called to tell them and they didn't apologized. Instead told me I was lying. Took the food back. No refund. Decided again to give them another chance. Called in an order and went to pick it up. Woman at the counter told me they gave my order to someone else because I ordered it so long ago. Then looked at her phone to tell me how long it had been. It had been less than an hour. I have eaten here probably 15 times while I have been out in Portales. Everything first class and nicely prepared. The folks are Chinese and super friendly. The chicken teriyaki sticks are out of the world! Really everything is excellent. Can't recommend them too highly. Been getting the buffet to go, but I know they're excited to be opening up again tomorrow. I received very personalized service for my to go meal of Chicken Fried Rice. I asked for extra chicken, they made it fresh and with plenty of bite sized chunks of white chicken breast. While I didn't have to wait long, I meandered around the restaurant and found it very clean and quite cheerful. I have to admit that I usually do not tip for to go food, but if you had smelled and seen thw quantity and quality my meal, you would understand why I decided to tip this time, although there was no tip jar.
