Where else can you get a T-Bone steak, baked potato, salad and bread for $16.99?? This place has been a staple in P-Ville since the 70's. It has an upstairs and downstairs. The name "The Cellar" came about because that's where it started. In the cellar. "The Mint" was a bar above The Cellar. When The Mint went out of business in the 90's , a couple months later The Cellar expanded. On weekends they still open up the original Cellar downstairs because this place gets that packed. I can still remember "Bud", the original owner packing a .38 on his hip in plain sight on Saturday nights years ago. This place has everything you could think of ordering. Edit 5/1/19. Their prices have went up!! T-Bone is now $19!!!

Was hoping for a good place to get a steak. It took an hour and a half from the time we ordered to get our food. It was fairly busy but the waitress never checked to see if we wanted refills or anything that whole time. There was plenty working too. Neither of the steaks we ordered or the lobster had any good flavor to them. I had asked what cut came with the steak and lobster and she couldn’t tell me and just said the size instead. I ordered my porterhouse medium and it came out well done. It was practically as then as carne asada. I’ll usually give placed another shot because we all have bad days but this place won’t get another shot from us.

The place recently changed hands. It was a tad higher priced than I expected, but that is what happens when menu pic on google is 3 years old. They now have a kids menu that even included steak bites which my son loved. Hubby got flat iron and I got NY strip. Total before tip with drinks and kids meal $67. Good price and the food was delicious. Atmosphere is so so, but the wait staff was pleasant and prompt.

Horrible customer service. We waited an hour and 30 minutes for our steaks that were supposed to be medium rare, but were well done instead. The couple that arrived after we did were served drinks, salad, appetizers, and their meal before we received our salad. Then, our waitress said "oh have you been helped." Even though we had nothing on our table. When asked what we would like to drink I ordered my son a water and she didn't bring it. I had to ask twice to bring his water, so sad. When the waitress brought our salads she said let me get you silverware. We waited 10 mins for our silverware while we just looked at our salads. We used to be regular customer's. We would always come to the cellar for a good steak at a good price. Tonight was a shame and I am truly sad that the new owners are not continuing the same humble hospitality as the old owners. I could say more, but I'll leave it at this please do not go to the cellar because you will be treated unfair, wait a longgggggg time for your food, have to pay alot of money, and leave very very disappointed. Please don't waist your time and money. The cellar is not what...

Well..... when you spend your hard earned money on a meal you would expect a good experience. We ate there tonight, never got our bread after asking twice, the waitress never came back to our table to see if everything was ok, we needed refills never got them. When we went to pay, I asked the waitress if we got a discount because we didn’t get our bread. She said, “ oh, I’m sorry, you don’t always get bread.” I told her ,” it says it’s served with your meal” she acted like she didn’t hear me. I didn’t get what I bought, therefore I feel ripped off. Bad service for sure. I’m sure the owner will not respond to this review. It looks like they don’t respond to many of them. Good thing you have your regular customers and good luck getting new ones. You should always make sure your customers are happy and satisfied. A good owner would make...
