We are from Oregon and have been Customers for years of DB and we appreciate it that you are expanding to other states. We have a home in the valley and in Oregon so while in town we stopped at Porterville DB.Please don’t hire anyone that walks through the door. The guy who waited on us had no smile. No character, did not offer the great customer service we experience at home in Fairview Oregon regularly. You need to take the weather into consideration and perhaps he was exhausted but then that’s a company issue because you have no Umbrellas to allow employees to stand under. Or do what you can to protect employees so they don’t give poor customer service. The Golden Eagle with soft top is always a hit!
On 8/24/2022 I decided to revise my review but here’s my add on: “ Hi there,
The owner of Dutch Brothers in Porterville CA asked me to leave feedback with you. I live in Fairview, Oregon but I work in Visalia, CA 1 week a month as I am a remote employee. I don’t know if I should be upset or not but the kid was not in a good mood for likely obvious reasons. The weather was over 105 degrees yet he was out there walking from car to car. I put myself in his shoes or even thought what if my kids were out there in the extreme heat? That is not safe since he was not protected from The hot sun or heat. I felt a little guilty and thought about my review I left and thought about the heat and conditions the kid was working in which didn’t occur to me right away. My review is below in the email. You guys need umbrellas or rolling carts so these employees have shade and water. I work in healthcare and heat exhaustion is deadly. The DB on Stark in Gresham, Oregon where I go often, the sun is beating on the employees facial skin. How about protection from skin cancer? Your awnings are not efficient and hold absolutely no purpose as they do not block the sun. You guys are a growing company making millions of dollars so why not PROTECT YOUR EMPLOYEES! That’s an OSHA violation if you don’t protect your employees from extreme weather. I feel Bad and will revise my review for the porterville CA feedback. Thank you. You guys are still my favorite coffee shop!

Read moreI give it three stars, mainly because over half the time my drinks aren’t made correctly. Like today, I understand there’s a line and all but the drinks are too expensive to be messing it up. The other thing that grinds my gears is when we pay by card we’re asked about our preferred tip, that’s fine unless we state will tip in cash because they need to take the tip from the card transaction. What I didn’t like was being told it says your preferred tip is $2. When I was paying with cash. Lines up there with just adding the tip on (Tulare’s site did that) without asking if I want to allow it. If I’m paying in cash and if I want to tip then I’ll tip and put it in the tip box. Then after all that my drink wasn’t even what I ordered. I’ve been coming here steadily for the past four months. In the beginning the service was great and now it’s going down like every other place. I’ll admit there are a few workers who are fantastically awesome and they’re the reason I have been coming back. Unfortunately since I don’t know when they will be working it a hit and miss and if I miss my coffee is so disappointing...
Read moreTried the sugar free version of a mocha freeze... Not enough flavor. Tried the original and it had great flavor. For those who are chocoholics, when they ask you for the what added flavor, say mocha. It gives it a stronger chocolate flavor. Next time I'm going to try the Carmel one. Their orange pomegranate muffin top treat is the bomb! OMG I didn't expect to be hit with such awesome flavors! Who knew!?
Will go back there for more!
My only suggestion is please tell people that if they want a sugar free to be a little sweeter, offer them some splenda or some other sweetener additive that's diet/diabetic friendly.
Other than that, good work!...
