My beer loving brother loves coming to Portland as there are so many places to explore. Over the years, we have made the rounds to MANY breweries. This was by far his favorite experience, hands down. There was a fantastic selection he thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. What made this truly exceptional was John. He could tell my brother was an enthusiast and was able to anticipate what he'd like. My brother found a kindred spirit in John. A fantastic beer cart located square in the middle of the Alberta Arts District. Many beer styles are represented, and always by very small local breweries that are hard to get elsewhere. Also a great can selection.

The staff is top notch: personable and knowledgeable; they've never steered me in the wrong direction.

There's no food, but it's located in a cart pod. Go to the Senegalese cart and pick up some African peanut dish over rice, or bring something from home.

TOP NOTCH! Relaxing vibes and an always changing variety of beverages. As someone who is gluten-free, gf options are always hard to come by at a beer cart, but at Conscious Sedation, the owners ALWAYS HAVE A LARGE SELECTION for me to try. CS brings those refreshing summers sips while offering warm/hugging cups of mulled wine during the winter. And did I mention that they have the occasional live band and art vendors?!
