I used to work in this industry as a team leader and as I was waiting for my pizza to be made I have never seen a staff treated so poorly by management in all my years. Whomever was in charge ( i.e. whomever was just below the manager on the floor tonight) where treating there staff extremely poorly. I walked in to hear yelling at staff for everything they were doing wrong (very uncomfortable for a customer). I had an elderly man in his sixty's try to run my order and when there where problems with my card info being input his hand began to shake and he began to look over his shoulder at the person in charge on the floor ( this person was about a third of his age). I suddenly understood why he was so nervous and told him everything is ok and not to worry. He then seemed a bit relieved. I then hear the person in charge on the floor being very mean to her staff again, yelling and making them very uncomfortable. I asked for this person upon receiving my pizza and told her my thoughts. She then proceeded to mouth off and be disrespectful and also cussing... The Manager seemed not to concerned about this persons behavior and wanted my phone number (probably for a free item to difuse the issue), I refused as that would not solve the issue and I was not looking for free items. I received unproffesional attitude from the manager as well after the refusal . If this were just one really bad night I might understand but this was three in a row I have seen this from the same person in charge treating the staff very poorly as I frequent this location.
To the General Manager: Your workers are currently being treated at an unsatisfactory level at your establishment. If you have both audio and video from your cameras please review and check this out at the request of a customer starting at about 8:00pm 03/16/19. I really do hope this is turned around and the current people who work here have comfortable jobs after this and do not have to start there shifts...
Read moreDominoes pizza has gotten a lot better over the years. We have gotten some really nice looking pizzas from there. In fact, we've been pretty impressed with our pizza most of the time. There have been a few times where our pizza was not worth paying for but it depends on which store you are ordering from. The one out on 29th and Industrial has been a huge disappointment. I ordered online but didn't see the pickup time until it had already been 45 minutes. I called and the manager was RUDE. When I got there, my pizza was old and cold. The manager told me it was my fault and wouldn't even consider replacing the order. I didn't realize at first that I was talking to the manager because I just couldn't believe that he would talk to a customer that way. I thought about calling their headquarters to complain but I don't plan on ever ordering from that location again so I decided it wasn't worth it. The delivery drivers are always super cool though. Update: We decided to order from this location again a couple of times, against our better judgement, and were unfortunately really disappointed again. I don't know if it's because they knew the pizza was coming to our place or if that's just how they make their pizzas now. I went ahead and called to complain this time and they could not have cared any less and told me that I was banned from ordering pizzas there. It's because I complained about my first bad experience there and they retaliated. I'm not a picky person I'm not hard to please and pizza is pizza but not when it comes to this place I...
Read moreThe pizza at dominos locations has made a major improvement over the years, nice garlic butter crust, sometimes too much cheese if they go so light with the cook time but otherwise good pizza. The staff at this location is the main reason for the 3 star, walked in and up to an empty counter, no biggie its busy, takes a couple minutes until the manager, who was making pizza, yells to a couple 'boys', his words, if someone could get the counter. They say yes but don't do it fast enough for him and he yells again for one of them to get the counter and he does, then. Takes my payment and says it's not ready. The manager who must not have noticed this saw me standing there still and comes over and asks the name on my order, sees it isn't ready and yells again, where is my order, I say that the guy said it wasn't ready yet. The young man who was getting yelled at the whole time pulls my pizza out of the oven, slices it and hands it off, I thank them and leave.
The tl:dr is that the manager was too busy yelling and not paying attention when once he realized I was there and no one else had helped he should have just come over and help. Don't yell at your staff because you don't want to wash your...
