I ordered a pizza from this location, along with a soda and a side. When the deliver driver showed up, he came walking up with the wrong soda in hand. I told him right away that I didn't order that, and told him what I did order. He had a Sprite, I ordered a Barq's rootbeer. He seem bewildered at first, so I had to repeat myself. This driver then told me he'd go down to the closest convenience store and get me the right item. I told him that was inappropriate. I really had no reason to trust him, and I know Barq's is kind of a difficult to find item in the convenience stores, for some reason. Besides those two points, it's still inappropriate. He asked if I wanted the Sprite anyway, and I refused. I told him that I'd call the store. He told me not to worry, that he'd do it when he got back to the store, but I said again, no. That's inappropriate, and I'll call the store.
I called the store. There was one rather funny moment here where the guy, upon seeing who the delivery driver was, said "oh, of course it is". Eh, maybe not as funny now though. they apparently issued a credit, but I saw nothing of it for two days, no refund to my card or anything. I called in again a few days late here, to see what is the story with that. Apparently they issued a store specific coupon that can only be redeemed for a soda.
I tend to order online because I have crippling anxiety with phones. I did have to call in to report the issue, and please be aware, this is not something I found comfortable or enjoyable at all. When I called in again, my anxiety has been worse, because I have to call back.
It was on this call that I was informed what the actual credit given to me was, and that I couldn't redeem it online, or for anything other than a soda.
This doesn't sit right with me, because of my anxiety with phones. I explained this and said this isn't right, and that I wanted an actual refund. That they took my money and didn't deliver the product I purchased.
At this point the dude snapped back at me "I didn't take your money!" This is inappropriate to me too. Anyone on that phone that is an employee of Domino's is acting as a representative of that company. I wasn't accusing him personally of taking my money; but commenting on the situation as a whole. That Domino's as an entity took my money, but did not deliver.
Two different employees snapped at me like this. I could understand it from the guy that's just taking orders, because he isn't paid enough to care. However, the assistant manager snapped at me with that same thing "I didn't take your money!". I would think as an assistant manager, he would understand that he is acting as a representative of the company he works for on that call, and should know better. So basically, he's telling me at that point that domino's doesn't want to take responsibility for this mess up, and they refuse to acknowledge that they took my money and didn't deliver the product.
The store manager was on duty, but apparently couldn't come talk on the phone. Though the assistant manager was fine talking with me for a bit, so I'm not sure what the manager was doing that made it okay for him to jabber back and forth with me, but prevented the actual manager from resolving the issue. The assistant manager indicated that I could get the actual refund, issued to my debit card, but that he couldn't do it.
I've called in several times, and it feels like I'm always given the run around. I talked with one employee and asked him if this seemed right, and shouldn't the manager be taking care of issues like this instead of brushing them off..? The guy on the phone seemed to agree, that it isn't be a big issue to issue a refund, and he doesn't know why the manager wants to just push it off. So...

Below is the detailed story.
When we first arrived, we were unable to pull into their driveway because their delivery drivers were parked there, side by side, with more behind. We were nearly rear-ended! We drove all around the block and found a one lane side entrance.
After a bit of congestion there, we looked around, not believing our eyes. THERE WAS NO HANDICAPPED PARKING! We ended up parking in what was almost the very furthest parking space away. What's more, the ramp up to the sidewalk led to an open back door and was difficult to get on to. We actually chose to pass it up and continue on the asphalt. It hardly mattered because when we got to the front door there was no room to work a wheel chair and open that door, that ironically has an ADA (handicapped) sign on it.
Going to the bathroom causes more problems. Again there is another ADA sign, but the door is so heavy that it pulled my wheel chair with it rather than me pulling the door. I don't generally like to admit it, but I am heavier than I should be, and I really wasn't expecting that. The bathroom was quite large and spacious, so that was nice. Unfortunately, I had to have my friend open the door so that I could get out of the bathroom. Good thing I had my phone with me or that could have been very embarrassing!
Earlier I had wished I had my electric scooter but now I was grateful for the manual chair. As I realized I had left something in the bathroom and needed to turn around I just barely managed to, because manual chairs can turn in place. There wasn't room for a scooter. With my scooter I would have had to go all the way to the front and hope there wasn't a crowd - or else I'd have to go back outside to turn around and go back into the bathroom for my belongings.
I spoke to the manager about my concerns and she just stared at me blankly. I was shocked! I've always been treated so well in the Portland area! She said something about how it wasn't her job or responsibility and she would pass my message on and she walked back to whatever she was doing in the back. Honestly I thought we had mis communicated somehow so I reminded her that she had an ADA compliance sign, but she wasn't in compliance. She repeated what she said before - not her job, she'd pass on the message.
I sat there, letting her take the next step. Would she take my phone number? Email? Write a note? Nothing. She turned and walked to the back again.
I sat there for a minute, shocked. That was it?!
In the 10 years that I have been in a wheel chair here in the Portland area, I have never felt like I mattered less. It really hurt.
We went to Domino's that day because I was recovering from surgery that might or might not tell me that I have breast cancer and I really needed something to cheer me up. I had always been treated so well with my food allergies at Domino's when I called them that I thought they would be the perfect place to go - and there was a location right across the street from where I was. Instead of being cheered up, I was treated like this.
So again, don't go. Other businesses deserve your...
Read moretonight Saturday the 19th of December, at approximately 6:00 pm, I called them and ordered a pizza and some wings, and asked them if I got there in 20 minutes if it would be ready. She said “yes” I ended up getting there about 5 minutes late due to traffic, and when I walked in there were 4 other customers standing in the lobby, looking like lost puppies. I was not greeted by any of the 3 employees who made eye contact with me as I walked in. I stood in the lobby for another 15 minutes, without a single person acknowledging I existed. More customers were walking in. Not one of them was greeted by any employees. I noticed that at least two of the employees were loudly and unprofessionally arguing about something, orders made wrong or not made at all, I’m not sure, and this went on for a good 5 minutes or so, all the while, nobody was helping or even speaking to any customers, besides the one female employee on the phone staring down at her computer for about 10 minutes. One customer even walked directly up to an employee, and told him she was there to pick up. He completely ignored her, in fact I doubt he even heard her, but he might have if he decided to look up from the screen in front of him and see the customer standing directly in front of him. at one point one of the delivery drivers came in from a delivery, and asked all of us if we were there to pick up food, and if we were what our names were. I told him yes and my name. He walked away to what I assumed was to get my food that surely was cold by now. He never came back. After another 10 minutes one of the managers came out and told us customers that there were only 3 people allowed in the lobby at the same time, and that 3 of us needed to leave because we exceeded that number. After about 10 seconds of standing there and hoping that she might ask someone their name or even say something along the lines of “ I’m so sorry about the long wait, can I do something to make it right”, but this did not happen, she immediately went back to somewhere in the back of the restaurant. After this, I was too frustrated and had given up hope of ever receiving the food I ordered. I am beyond angry at the complete and total failure of the management at this restaurant. I would not recommend anyone attempt to order food from this dominos (assuming they actually...
