Eastern Prom Food Truck Park — Restaurant in Portland

One of my absolute favorite parts about summer in Portland! We have a dog, so there are few ways I'd rather spend an evening than grabbing dinner from one of the local food trucks and watching our pup run around the beach. While the selection of food trucks is almost always the same, they provide a wide variety and something that will suit every palate.

During peak hours there can be a bit of a wait, so be sure to consider how much time you have available when making your selection. On the upside, it's hard to get a better view than the Eastern Prom and it's a great atmosphere for chatting...

2 to 3 hour lines at the food trucks during the Fourth of July celebration was crazy. Who's idea was it to limit the number of trucks to 6? I've read estimates of 15,000+ people attended. That's a lot of hungry and thirsty people to only have 6 vendors. In the past there were enough vendors to feed people. Some stopped taking orders hours before the show due to too many purchases. I've attended this event for many years and the city should have let more vendors in or told people to pack a dinner this year since services...

The Eastern prom food truck park is a great spot to unwind. Grab a great bite to eat, walk towards the water and enjoy the sun on a great summer day or fall afternoon. The food trucks always deliver great eats. Some of our favorites include falafel, Mafia, the pizza crate truck, and of course Mr. Tuna Maine. Next time we go back, we'll frequent the other trucks.
