One of my absolute favorite parts about summer in Portland! We have a dog, so there are few ways I'd rather spend an evening than grabbing dinner from one of the local food trucks and watching our pup run around the beach. While the selection of food trucks is almost always the same, they provide a wide variety and something that will suit every palate.

Read more2 to 3 hour lines at the food trucks during the Fourth of July celebration was crazy. Who's idea was it to limit the number of trucks to 6? I've read estimates of 15,000+ people attended. That's a lot of hungry and thirsty people to only have 6 vendors. In the past there were enough vendors to feed people. Some stopped taking orders hours before the show due to too many purchases. I've attended this event for many years and the city should have let more vendors in or told people to pack a dinner this year since services...
