LOCATION is at the top of Munjoy Hill, close to an art center, a charming little grocer, and walking distance from a park with a lookout over the harbor. Plenty of side street parking if you have to come by car. MENU was exactly what we’d want. Coffee was pretty damn good, and served in mugs, without plastic or paper. Bakery goods (we had a blueberry muffin chock full of the smaller Maine blueberries) were as tasty as they looked. ATMOSPHERE: There was a play corner for kids, and another shelf selling art (pottery) and coffee. Not overly noisy, though it was bustling, and quiet enough that folks could sit and read the paper or work on their laptops. Didn’t bother me that there was no Wifi. SERVICE had no issues. More importantly: This is a non-tipping establishment that pays a higher wage and bakes that into the price. IT CAN BE DONE.

We ordered a French Toast Latte, Orchard Crisp and then the Turmeric Latte (can’t remember the name). The French Toast was awesome. A perfect cup of coffee mixed with sweet natural ingredients. The Turmeric Latte was also incredible. A strange mix of spices/ingredients THAT WORK. We really liked it, definitely different but a good reward for a good risk. The Orchard Crisp was a miss for us, just personal preference but overall we liked everything.

The coffee is delicious, I enjoy the for-here cups, the vibe is immaculate, and for a small space there’s ample seating. It’s a no tipping place, and they say the prices reflect the higher wages of the baristas, but I wouldn’t say the cost of my flavored latte was any more than it would be at most other places. So fear not. Writing this as I sit here actually as I’m so impressed with how much I love this place.

Bright and inviting space with friendly smiling staff and good drinks! Limited seating if busy, but if available they have window facing stools, some table/nook style as well as a child corner. Menu is not extremely large but hopeful they will eventually have seasonal/limited offerings. The Wellness Lattes were the stand out interesting options due to their uniqueness. Enjoyed their Maca Cardamom Coffee (might not be for everyone) and want to return to try the Spiced Cacao and Vanilla Skies. My fiancée got the Chai Iced Latte and one of the better ones we have recently had, packs a good punch of flavor. Look forward to returning for a different drink and a pastry from Ugly Duckling!

Some improvements could be possible size options, as some of us enjoy larger coffees. Also getting better signage out front would be a good idea. Otherwise a nice new option in the Portland...

Very cute spot but should have noticed reviews beforehand about no WiFi, I used a hotspot like others did. I check out businesses on Instagram often nowadays and it wasn’t mentioned on their social media nor their website. I got the Rose Cardamom chai latte and it was not good. It tasted nothing like cardamom nor chai. I honestly couldn’t stomach it even after adding simple syrup. Tried their croissant as well which was baked well but the salt flakes were very overpowering. A very unique cafe but not like the atmosphere most people are looking for when looking for a cafe experience. I think this place has great potential but unfortunately my first time was very...
