Poor customer service. I waited about 13 mins to get even ask if I wanted a drink and menu. There was a young couple behind me and 3 others at one table. It was so dead every employee was in the back laughing and enjoying themselves except walk the floor. I got there at 11:28 p.m. and server finally ask me if I wanted a drink I replied yes. Dr. Pepper would be great he got one glass for me and then brought me my menu. That was the only and last time I was asked if I needed anything on my table so that was my only drink. The food was good but horrible service. Dylan W. was my waiter and never asked me if I wanted another drink. Other families came in 35 min. later and they were waiting in the lobby for several mins without any employee being in front. The lady had to physically go knock on the kitchen door to get help. If I was a supervisor I would really appreciate him or her to view the cameras from 11p.m. 12/29/18 to 1:00 a.m. 12/30/18 to see what I experienced. I ask the waiter at the end what the managers name was and he replied Michael. As I paid I wasn't in my best clothing and Dylan made a comment if I'm a big baller so I just looked at him with no clue that question would be asked. He asked have only big bills or credit cars. Why, I have no clue about anything of those questions. I told him I would pay him cash and also tip him. Even though he didn't deserve a tip. My Tbl 32/1 chk 8423 Gst 1 Dec 29 2018 11:40p.m. my subtotal was $25.59 and I tipped him 5.00. See my pictures

So I usually dine-in with my sister or my son when we're in Portland, TX but yesterday we just wanted to eat at home so I called in the order. I called it in and I ordered two of the 2x2x2 special advertised on tv for $5 and the lady taking my order tells me its going to be ready in 10 minutes. Didn't mention anything else regarding extra fees associated with to-go orders. ) I get there expecting to pay $10+ and she says it's $17.30. I told her that it's advertised for $5 and she says "I'm sorry but it's $17.30." She goes, "Do you want to speak to the manager? I told her "sure." The manager comes and tells me the reason for the difference in price is because it's a to-go order and the $5 price only applies to dine-in because of the containers they put to-go orders. I ended up making split payments because I wasn't expecting the extra fees for the containers. They need to make customers aware of this extra charge on to go-orders. I just want to pay for my food and could care less for the fancy containers they use. They should give customers the option of getting cheaper styrofoam (free) containers. I guess they want to make up somehow for the fact that you're not dining-in and not leaving a tip. Just a heads up for anyone ordering to-go orders at "THIS" or any other restaurant or through 3rd party delivery service on these extra fees they charge. I'll still eat here because I like it more than the Corpus Christi locations, just won't be ordering to-go anymore.

O how I miss the days when Customer Service meant something 😟. Let's just say that the best part of our visit was the greeting at the door. We were supposed to be seated, but, the table needed to be cleaned, our "Waiter" was asked to clean it, but he felt that we obviously didn't need to be seated in a timely manner... shameful! So, the Hostess, who was very busy, leaves us standing in the dining room, as she was collecting cleaning essentials... well, rather than tend to us, it was easier to make us wait, as another set of hungry customers were seated at a clean table... shameful! Needless to say, I cleaned our table, set the utensils, laid out our menus...just really?!?! Our "Waiter" finally decided to take our drink order, after having us wait for 6 minutes! And no, his section wasn't busy, he wasn't overwhelmed with customers... SHAMEFUL! FINALLY....our orders were taken... And the Food was COLD AND DISGUSTING! I'm actually embarrassed for this location! The Manager and I spoke, I expressed my dislike for the food and SLOPPY SERVICE! Here's a hint Staff Members....if you have enough time to joke around....then you have PLENTY OF TIME TO DEDICATE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! As far as this Critics opinion..... there's much improvement that needs to be...
