Walked in just after noon on a Thursday. Weren't greeted, it seemed as if we were inconveniences. Seats were open and we were seated quickly. Tea is served in a little pitcher which is really cute except that the tea is old, or they do not wash the pots out each night. It was strong and gross, plus $4 a glass. The egg drop soup is $6 but the bowl is only half full and would be the size of a cup at any other restaurant. There are no vegetables in it except green onion, no chicken either so it is flavorless. It does not come with your meal. Egg rolls do not come with your meal. We got vegetable dumplings and at $8 all that was in them were shredded broccoli, one piece of corn and a sliver of carrot. My daughter ordered a meal and when the waitress repeated it wrong, she told her no and the correct item even pointing to it on the menu and the wrong item was still brought out. Shrimp Curry fried rice had boiled non seasoned shrimp thrown on the top. The regular fried rice that you get with your meal is complete mush, no vegetables, no seasoning and no flavor. The sesame chicken is large chunks of chicken. The flavor was just ok. We shared a plate and we had to ask two different people for a plate to eat off of. These plates are $17 and up a piece, with no soup, no eggroll. To add $6 for soup and an order of eggrolls for $8 plus $4 a tea makes your lunch per person over $35/person. The food and the service is not worth that at all. We could not find anyone to refill our drinks, to give us a box or to bring our check. We were never asked if we needed anything or how it was. When we asked for the check it was $88 for 4 drinks, 1soup, 1 side fried rice, 3 shared plates and dumplings. They do not bother to tell you that they charge for using a card either. I was just told a different amount when I got to the register to pay and I said that was not what the receipt said. I then was told you can pay what you owe if you use cash. If using a card we charge more. I walked out of there paying over $90 w/o tip for shared lunch meals for 4 teens and 1 adult. The food is...
Read moreThis was our 2nd visit in less than a month. 1st visit we had the Crab Rangoon (clearly made fresh), Lettuce Wraps, Lemongrass Chicken and Singapore Noodles, all were flavorful large portions. Today, we had Crab Rangoon, Spring Rolls, Sesame Chicken, General Tso Chicken (pictured), Ramen (pictured), Beef Curry Rice (pictured). Again, all were delicious and generous portions. Service was good considering place was pretty full and only one waiter attending tables. Last visit, we were the only ones there so not fair to compare. Dining area was clean and provides a semi-quiet atmosphere. Drinks are served in small pitcher which caught us off guard our 1st visit but are a cute idea. Note, your straw fits right in the spout of the mini pitcher. Although, I wish some dishes were spicier, they have chili oil and Saracha available. Really hoping community supports this place! We will...
Read moreMy whole family loves to come out to eat here every chance we get! Even my brother who is considered a picky eater LOVES many of the menu choices. The prices can be considered high, but when you factor in how large the portions are for a number of the dishes offered you can clearly see that it is worth the extra cost. We have taken home our leftovers plenty of times, and they were just as delicious the next day; fine and dandy heated in the microwave or tasty heated up on the stove! The atmosphere is clean, open, and family friendly. Staff is wonderful, and always incredibly helpful. In comparison to so many restaurants in the Portland area, this is one of the nicest; it brings a homey feeling with the food and the people, and it also provides a level of cleanliness that gives you peace of mind while eating out. Highly recommend you give them a try and enjoy this little gem in the...
