HORRIBLE experiences here. I know that the economy is hard and it's short-staffed everywhere, and I value and appreciate the people who are working so hard--but the customer service here has been terrible. First, one time I placed an online order. I was recovering from surgery, and hardly anything sounded good to me, but this did, so my husband went to pick it up. They had him pull out of line so they could bring him food. An HOUR later, they still hadn't brought it to him, and he had to go inside, where the cashier was kind but the manager was upset and blaming my husband for the order not being ready. Months later, I was sick and needed to feed my family. Decided to try KFC again. I almost never pay for delivery, but being as sick as I was, I didn't want to go out. I ordered through KFC's web page, but it was Door Dash who delivered--and they did fabulously; I have nothing but good things to say about the driver, who is completely unrelated to KFC--but HALF of my food was missing. Half. To feed my family of six. Almost all of one family meal was missing, and part of another family meal was missing. I called the restaurant and was told that if I wanted the food, I would have to drive to get it--after I had already paid for delivery--and if I wanted a refund, I would have to contact the company through the web page. Read moreWent to KFC at around 9:00pm. The one in Portland, TX. We decided to go inside and order. Well right before we even order anything... closing manager says they are not frying any more chicken and it's around 9:00 pm.. HELLO.... Y'all close at 10:30 .... not that I wanted their greasy chicken. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and tenders with Mac and cheese. We Always check the order before we leave and as always something is missing...2 Mac and cheese missing. We go to counter and tell them... mgr says they are in the bag so I take chicken sandwiches out of the bag and drop empty bag on the counter and she looks inside the bag.... That's when I tell her I know what Mac and cheese looks like and it's not in the EMPTY BAG. They look at us like we are hiding the Mac and cheese .... which by the way was DRY. Treat your customers better or find another job because at this point.... customers don't want to return.
Well it's a year later and things have gotten worse. At this point they should just close this place down and build another restaurant that's worth ordering food from because they had drive thru open and after waiting in line...she said I'll be right with you I was 3rd car ready to order..only to be told after waiting 20 Minutes that they don't have any tenders..My response was that she should have told me that 20 MINUTES AGO..... Read moreUpon entry it was visable the restaurant needed the lobby cleaned. It was 7pm and not busy at all. 2 employees were on break in the lobby. We ordered and went to get our drinks made. We took the last 2 straws in the holder. When our order was up they called our name, then walked away. Never asked if we needed any sauces or anything. One employee noticed I was there after 5 minutes or so, asked if she could help me. I said could I please get sauce. She was friendly and said yes ma'am. I took our order to the table. Went to get spoons and or forks. No plastic utensils anywhere. I went to the counter again and asked for a couple of forks or something. There wasn't any out there. She handed me a fork. I said could I please get 1 more. She turned to grab another one looking at another employee and the employee she turned to started giggling like something happened. She handed it to me, I thanked her and went on. The potatoes tasted like they'd been sitting for awhile. Everything else was ok. Upon leaving my family stopped off in the restroom. The restroom was cleaner than the lobby, BUT that's where we noticed a roach in the large stall going into a little hole in the wall. The hand dryer barely worked, not much for water pressure and no soap. Not sure how you're suppose to dry your hands after barely being able to wash... Or how employees would efficiently wash and dry...
