I bought 2 Breakfast Jacks, I figured it would take a couple mins to cook the eggs fresh, which I like a lot, but that's where my disillusionment started, when I get back my two Breakfast Jack from the drive-thru window it was about 2 minutes longer than expected but that's okay...like I said, "FRESH!!! I pull out of the drive-through and right when I'm getting ready to turn onto the street and head home, I bite into it...NO cheese!!! So I park and I walk inside and stand there for a few minutes, there's nobody else inside the Jack in the Box, there are two other people waiting in the Drive-Thru, three total employees, a manager and two regular employees! Well I'm just standing there for a few minutes before someone will even acknowledge I'm standing there, I had even said "hello" a couple of times!!! When I was FINIALLY attended to, I explained the situation expecting a slice of cheese jusT popped down on it and handed back...but NO of course NOT, the cook has to go help the manager with the computer in the Drive-Thru line instead of putting a piece of cheese on my sandwich and handing it back first! Normally I would just be a mild irritation but I'm saying it was about another 5 minutes waiting for my sandwich TO GET 1 SLICE OF CHEESE! When I finally did get it and I get back to the car and take off headed home I take a bite into it and the egg it's like biting into pan-fried plastic!!! I ALMOST CHOKED on it! Please understand I do NOT publicly complain for the most part unless something is like THIS, that egg was actually dangerous as a choking hazard! That, coupled with the VERY poor customer service if I could give a negative star rating for the Jack in the Box on Airport & 122nd...I WOULD!!! Do NOT eat there! And like I said I don't normally complain about stuff like this, especially publicly! Now I understand that sometimes people have a bad day and accidents happen, but this was ridiculous! Very...
Read moreWent there yesterday at 4:47 pm prior to going to the airport. Neon sign said open, door was open. Went in to order food and waited there for a wihle before seeing a woman behind the counter preparing orders. She motioned to me to wait that someone would come and take my order. Waited several minutes and no one came. 2 more customers came in and went to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom and came back to order. Still no one coming to take my order. The lady behind the counter kept looking back somewhere I could not see as if she was looking for someone to come to take my order. But she never told me "We're closed." She was busy preparing orders, so I thought to go to the drive through.
Sign still said "OPEN" but at the drive through order no one answered. I drove up to the window and the same lady saw me and then WALKED AWAY. I drove around to the front again and saw a woman coming out of the place with a full bag of food. I asked her, "Did you mobile order or order there?" she said mobile order and that they were closed. And yet the sign still said OPEN. So at 5:-04 I drove away and then had to scramble to find another place to get food before getting to the airport for my picky eater child who was now in tears hungry, tired and frustrated as was I.
The least you could do is teach your employees to: Say "we are closed/no longer taking orders" instead of making people wait for NOTHING Put your sign to "closed" when you are closed and close the doors Also change your google hours - they do not indicate that you close at 4:30 pm on...
Read moreI am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent experience at your restaurant. During my visit to the drive-thru, I ordered a #2 combo with curly fries. The staff member taking my order had difficulty understanding me and repeatedly asked for clarification, even after I patiently repeated my request. When I reached the window, the same staff member was unfriendly, and although I confirmed my order, I was given the wrong items—missing the fries.
After returning to the drive-thru within minutes to resolve the issue, the staff member failed to recognize me and became defensive when I explained the mistake. Despite presenting proof of my purchase, she continued to deny the oversight and treated me rudely, even closing the window mid-conversation. Her poor customer service was frustrating and unnecessary, especially as I remained polite throughout.
I believe her limited English proficiency may be contributing to the issues, but the main concern is her unprofessional behavior. I am not making a racial complaint, but rather addressing her lack of courtesy and the overall unpleasant interaction. I have been a regular customer for years, and this experience was deeply disappointing. I request that her behavior be reviewed and that she receive further training in customer service.
I am open to discussing this further if needed and hope this matter is addressed to ensure a better experience for...
