Alrighty, so today I tried out Jin Jin for the first time ever today after getting recommended them by my boss. From what I’ve heard they have amazing fried rice and food so I had to get some. I placed 2 separate takeout orders for their spam fried rice(my new favorite) and their Lapchong Chinese sausage fried rice. They packaged both of them beautifully in reusable Tupperware containers and the final garnish and look of my food was amazing. Taste wise, it was literally the best fried rice I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve eaten a lot of fried rice everywhere through the years, it wasn’t too oily and the taste of it was absolutely perfect! I could tell it was authentically cooked in a wok and seasoned by the hands of a chef who’s been cooking for a very long time and knows what they’re doing. They’re kind and very nice people who are really friendly and took care of my order and payment fast and smoothly.
The store interior is so welcoming and family friendly lookin; it’s just a classic small and aesthetically beautiful restaurant. I highly highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for everyone to experience. 10/10 I will definitely be...
Read moreWe dine here a few times over the past two years. There is a posted sign at the counter for No Contactless Payment. We did not ask for specific since we paid cash.
It's a small family owned. Menu is posted on the wall above each table, and they also bring it to the table for you. Hot tea is complementary. Service is alright. I have been here a few times by myself and with friends; beside brought our order to the table, they didn't check in on us at all after that.
It offers various comfort Chinese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese dishes, which rarely find elsewhere. Overall food quality is average. The liver comes with Hu Tieu Trieu Chau is often overcooked and tiny portion. Most of their soup are on the sweeter side for taste. I only come here whenever I crave Bon Chien/Pan Fried Rice Cake; it's not that great since they never make it crunchy and crispy enough for me even though I always ask for it. It is my comfort street food whenever I...
Read moreBad business ethics, now I am wondering about their kitchen ethics!
Looked at the website to see what time they closed since I am from the West side going toward the SE, and it showed 8PM, I got there at 7:25PM, and as I walked in, they have customers still eating, and the employees were putting up chairs. The owner was sitting behind the counter with his feet kicked up, and told me "we are closed", I told him it's not 8PM yet, and I only want togo orders. He then said "We ran out of everything". I don't know whether to laugh or to throw words at him, but what? he think everyone in the world is stupid? I helped ran my family restaurant business for almost 25 years and I know he was BS'ing! Anyway, I will not go back to eat there in the future either way, as they have bad business ethics, so I wonder how good of the ethics they have behind the kitchen and the...
