In the old Good Taste spot across from PCC, the brick Asian courtyard's YK BBQ's $16 House Special Chow Fun is super, on the pricey side but it's a hefty portion enough for 1.5-2 meals, dry fried (gravy avail) with a good dose of proteins 5 large shrimp, 7-8 pcs of large tender slices beef, 5+pcs chicken and BBQ pork. Beansprouts were still snappy as was onion, favorably lending just enough spicy zing, it's hard to truly stop eating when the first signs of fullness appear. Give yourself a few minutes and your chopsticks will wantingly dive back in! Without his go-to Kung Pao Chicken on the menu, hubby was delighted with his substitute and states he'd willingly give the Kung Pao a miss again for this chow fun! 5/5
3.5/5 $13.50 Roast Duck over egg noodles with broth on the side came with 5pcs including part of the wing without the tip. Lean and moist but disappointed in the flavor of the roast, less 5-spice and more soy, and missing something? that makes the unique signature Chinese roast duck sing. Got a solo cup of hoisin based duck sauce when I asked for plum sauce, and again not the best blend. Pure Spice still owns my title for fave, to date. A very healthy portion of Thin egg noodles come topped with 2 pcs of baby bok choy and a peppery chicken/pork? clear broth served piping hot on the side that was yummy.
Complimentary Pot of very flavorful creamy tasting dark Chinese tea arrives with your menus. The hot chili paste in the stainless pot was very spicy, FÄichĆ”ng lĆ , beware!
With a curry, excellent chow fun, congee and noodle soups on the menu, will surely return but will stick to PSpice...

I asked staff why my roast pork skin so soft and they response to me if you want your roast pork cold then crispy skin or roast pork hot then skin not crispy because we microwave it. So because itās already made We canāt change it. š± I told staff but the waiter didnāt ask me if i want hot or cold pork. I want my roast pork on the side bc of crispy. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have ordered take out and delivery from here. I've had good experiences both ways. For take out, they greeted me immediately, took my order, had me pay, then told me how long it would take. I didn't have to wave them down and I felt like they treated me well. The food was prepared surprisingly fast. I was even more surprised by the large portions for the price that I paid. For delivery (via Grubhub), some items aren't available (such as the pepper and onion prawns), but similarly the food was prepared fast with large portions and delivered in a timely manner. So far, I've had their BBQ pork, roasted pork, duck, salt and pepper prawns, fried rice, congee, Big Game A and Big Game B, and wonton soup - all tasted great, not overly salty nor bland, and a great price for large portions. Overall, great experiences!
If you order from Grubhub, note that Yang Kee BBQ Noodle lists their restaurant prices on Grubhub and it doesn't include the upcharge that Grubhub charges this restaurant. The additional charge from the restaurant is actually Grubhub's charge of around 20%...
