This last time, the preparation of the food seemed to be quite a bit off, compared to what I'd previously experienced. The quail seemed not super crispy, and was tough. The calamari appeared to be undercooked, and was also tough. One of the most noteworthy items about Mekong Bistro in the past was the huge flavor profiles, and hefty spice level. Both of these were absent this time around.
Service was not up to the standard it used to be, not as prompt, and not as friendly. I may give them another shot at some point, in hopes that this last visit was...

I'm not a real fan of restuarants that try to cater to all types of people by creating dishes that really arent authentic to them. Too many menu items makes it harder to create quality food. I ordered a noodle dish and got it in less than five minutes... It tasted a little off from what i have had at other places and it hurt my stomach. It could have just been a slow time as well but...the taste was spicy and sweet but the after taste was not good. Also there doesnt seem to be proper lighting in the bathroom. I think that this resturant just needs a little love and tlc and a more specific menu that really celebrates the food from...
