Read moreI was born in Merida, Yucatan and grew up with many amazing food flavors. Living in AZ is extremely rare to find any Yucatecan cuisine. So, while visiting Portland I was excited to try this restaurant. My hopes were high from all the reviews I read.
I ordered two Panuchos and two Salbutes. Presentation was good even though I’ve never seen them served with Jalapenos. The Habanero sauce was very tame, barely any spiciness to it. The Salbut tortilla looked more like a little tortilla bowl. The tortilla for both the Panucho and Salbut were cold and the chicken was even colder than the Coca-Cola I was drinking!

After having so many, I often think the wow factor will wear off, but every time I take that first bite, I’m still blown away. I can honestly say their burritos are the best I’ve ever had, and that’s definitely...
