Portland, Oregon, has long been a haven for food enthusiasts, and Norah Belmont, nestled in the heart of the city, is a testament to the vibrant culinary scene that continues to thrive here. This unassuming yet sophisticated eatery has mastered the art of blending global flavors with local sensibilities, creating a dining experience that is both comforting and exhilarating.

The menu at Norah Belmont is a love letter to international cuisine, executed with precision and creativity. Take, for instance, their Bibimbap, a Korean classic that arrives as a colorful mosaic of marinated beef, crisp vegetables, and a perfectly fried egg perched atop a bed of steaming rice. The dish is served with a side of gochujang sauce, allowing diners to tailor the spice level to their liking. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, a reminder of why this dish has endured as a global favorite.

Equally impressive is their Pad Thai, which strikes a delicate balance between sweet, sour, and savory. The noodles are springy and perfectly coated in a tamarind-based sauce, while the generous topping of crushed peanuts and fresh lime wedges adds a delightful crunch and brightness. It's a dish that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, a hallmark of Norah Belmont's approach to reinventing classics.

For those seeking something a little more indulgent, the Coconut Mushroom Fettuccine is a revelation. This creamy, plant-based dish is a masterclass in umami, with earthy mushrooms swimming in a velvety coconut sauce that clings to al dente fettuccine. The addition of fresh herbs and a hint of chili elevates the dish, making it a standout even for those who typically shy away from vegetarian options. And then there's the Chinese Broccoli with Garlic, a deceptively simple side that steals the show. The broccoli is tender yet retains a satisfying bite, while the garlic is toasted to golden perfection, infusing the dish with a rich, aromatic depth. It's a testament to Norah Belmont's ability to transform humble ingredients into something extraordinary.

The ambiance at Norah Belmont is as thoughtfully curated as its menu. The space is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and minimalist decor that allows the food to take center stage. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling intrusive. In a city teeming with culinary talent, Norah Belmont stands out as a destination that celebrates the diversity of global cuisine while staying true to its Portland roots. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a meal here is not just dining-it's an experience. Norah Belmont is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art...

Khao soi ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ it has all the flavors of things I like in khao soi I remember liking cauliflower curry more though

Charred cabbage ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect and crisp not overly salty

❤️Sichuan grilled broccoli ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this is a reorder dish for me for sure the broccoli was perfectly cooked the oyster mushrooms blew me away

Mapo tofu ⭐⭐⭐⭐ really solid but wouldn't be able to have it by itself the tofu is so soft and good, it literally melts underneath my spoon think I'd only get this again if sharing, otherwise I'd get the mapo skewers I don't think it necessarily beats map tofu with meat

❤️ Cauliflower curry ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ I reeeeeeally like this but I don't think it's filling bc I can't have that much rice the sauce is really peanut forward and good tho

Pad Thai ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nothing that could be improved by this but wouldn't say it's a must try. it's definitely a perfect remake of a classic though I can't even tell the difference between the just egg I only deducted one star because it doesn't blow my mind and wish it had more veg

Bibimbap ⭐⭐⭐✨ this one is just ok for me but it's a solid pick has a little bit of a sea flavor? I wonder if there's sea weed

Pad see ew ⭐⭐⭐✨ solid texture wouldn't write home about it pretty much what you'd expect, but I suppose I forgot it was vegan which is a huge plus

Jiaozi fried dumpling ⭐⭐⭐✨ people like this more than the samosa I think I prefer the dumpling it has that perfect crunch I don't think ours came with a sweet and sour sauce think I didn't love the soy curls here

Samosa ⭐⭐⭐⭐ better than the dumpling I like the peanut taste to it, bc of the massaman curry inside head to head against the dumpling, I'll just always like this more because of the peanut taste

Pad Thai nachos ⭐⭐⭐ interesting a try once thing for me, wouldnt reorder wouldn't say...

Every dish that came out was cold or room temp. The pad see ew had no sauce on it and the noodles were hot but the tofu was cold. We asked for sauce. Server forgot to bring any but then eventually brought it out. We loved the flavors of the coconut mushroom fettuccine but were confused that it wasn’t hot. The wonton nachos had too much sweet sauce, that would have been nice as a drizzle. All of the food needed an extra kick, some spice or fresh herbs. We asked for chilies and they only...

holy freaking moly this place is DELICIOUS!!! we tried to go to another place but it was full up and we happened upon this restaurant and i’m so glad we did. We had the thai iced tea, the iced coffee, the See Ew, and the Chick’n sandwich. i’m full up and so happy, the vibes are calm and chill, they have plants and cute decorations and the chairs are comfy. Bathroom is clean too. So glad we lucked out and found this place. Come try it out!
