PDX Coffee Club - Hillsdale — Restaurant in Portland

Joe is fantastic. Deep knowledgable of coffee AND the ability to execute. I’m a black coffee/americano guy and few places in town really get it right. PDX Coffee Club does. They feature a variety of beans from numerous Portland area roasters, with a couple of options each day. A large selection of bags of beans are available for purchase, along with a limited selection of brewing accessories. If you like pour overs, ask them about the Pulsar system from Next Level that they sell. It was a game changer for my home brewing.

Exceptional coffee has finally landed in South Portland! For a long time this has been one of the only neighborhoods lacking the exceptional coffee that Portland has access to. I’m very happy that Joe and Vincente are here to change that with PDX Coffee Club.

Great espresso. The collection of roasts available for purchase is truly stand out for Portland. At this point, I’ve been buying almost all of my beans from this place. Want something traditional? Joe’s got it. Some funky Anaerobic or Natural roast? Joe’s got those too. I’ve even seen the occasional co-ferment as well.

So happy to have this is Hillsdale! Finally an awesome local coffee shop! Having a wonderful local coffee shop that we can walk to changed our neighborhood. Delicious coffee and tasty pastries. Housemade/locally made syrups. The Avena latte is chefs kiss delicious. The Calabrian chili/scallion cream cheese on everything bagel is perfection. Every matcha I’ve tried is perfect. Wonderful chai—2 options that are both so uniquely flavorful. Friendly and welcoming owners, Joe and Vicente. And all the staff are so kind. 10/10. We have a 1.5 year old and we love hanging out on the back patio. We have met so many great neighbors while visiting PDX...
