I pulled up to the drive through and tried to ask what was on the $1.99 menu because it was not posted on the board. The lady behind the earpiece said what?! I repeated my self and she instructed me to hold on. She then quickly read them off and it was hard to hear what she said, but I moved on. I ordered 2 jr double cheeseburgers, no bun, only cheese mayo and ketchup. She waits a minute and asks for me to repeat it because it was hard to hear me. I said of course no worries, I understand it can be hard to hear with all that noise in the kitchen, so I repeated that I wanted 2 jr double cheeseburgers, no bun, only cheese mayo and ketchup. She repeats it back to me and I correct again. She hastly tells me the total and I drive up. When I get to the window I pay, and then when a new lady name cassandra hands me back my card and my food. She let me know about the survey and was really nice. At the moment I got my food I knew something was wrong with it because the ticket said jr burger. I orderd the jr double cheeseburger with no bun, mayo, ketchup, cheese only. At this point it was already too late because I had my food and I paid for the food. I paid for technically the right food for the ticket that was entered but it was not the food I ordered. Once I got home I saw the issue and was very sad. Two regular patties smothered in mayo with a little ketchup no cheese that I paid 5.61 for... Felt like a waste of money and time. Cassandra was wonderful though and deserves a raise.

Read moreI was quite impressed last night going to Sonic. It was about 7:15 pm, and I went through the drive through. I have a big family and therefore always a large order, most places I go there is almost always something missing or wrong, so I just expect it to happen. The person who took my order was friendly, didn’t make me feel like I was wasting her time or taking forever. My large order was correct, nothing missing, all the sauces were there, they recapped my order three times, and I even had napkins. The food was great, delivered quickly, I didn’t have to pull forward to wait, (I do a lot of places) and their parking lot was almost completely full. Awesome job! Read moreWe hadn't been to Sonic in ages, due to terrible service and equally terrible food. We went in a pinch after they had reopened from the hurricane and it was fantastic! I don't know if it's new owners or new management, but these guys are getting it right. We have been a handful of times since and the order is always correct, the food is always hot and it's back to the quality I remember from when I was a kid. Everyone has been so polite, very much like when you go to Chick-fil-A. Portland was in desperate need of a GOOD place to get a quick meal.
