These guys stayed open for all of us through all of the 15° weather and ice rain. I believe they need a raise. I couldn't tip them because this weather made me take 4 days off. Uber Eats and any delivery is canceling or 2 hours slow, so besides the A. M p m next door these people have been the only ones open for us to get food in my brooklyn district area. I got to the point where i no longer could eat Subway anymore but now i have started to get it again and coming to this location so far its been 3 out of 4 visits i was happy with the service and my sandwich. The one time i was not satisfied is when one of the employees rushed thru making my sandwich, even tho i was the only customer in at the time so there should have been NO reason to throw it together the way she did, and ignored the way i asked her to put my sauce and veggies on it. Otherwise great store, always clean and i am always greeted upon arrival. Its a decent shop and i will come back, now i know which employees will make a good sandwhich so i try to only come in when they are there because i know i will get what i am ordering....when you make a sandwhich and you dont care how it turns out because you wont be eating it, it is evident in the taste... Let me clarify: The person making my sandwich either was hard of hearing or simply wasn’t listening but I would ask for something and they would then look at me like they were waiting for me to continue but without adding what I asked for. When I tried to speak louder, she looked annoyed that I had raised my voice but clearly couldn’t hear me anyway. Then when it was time to pay, I hadn’t realized there was a price change so I actually gave more $$$ than was necessary. She rudely pointed to the menu board and said “Can’t you read?” Not without my glasses I can’t which is why i was relying on memory. The sandwich wasn’t good anyway so I definitely won’t be returning here.
I currently work in customer service and have learned if you hate your job and hate the customers, that attitude and energy is noticeable to every customer.
