Okay this is a little late seeing as I went in on national BBQ day but this visit and this review have been a long time coming, first of all the half platter is so much food, I canāt even imagine how much food the large platter could hold. The brisket is DELICIOUS, fall apart all over so good, the chicken is so flavorful you will not want to share lol the mac and cheese was great, the brisket burnt end beans is exactly as described and it is the best baked beans Iāve ever had, the cornbread muffins could have been a tad bit better with a little more moisture retention however the flavor and quantity definitely made up for anything. The entire platter was well worth $45 for half a bird, all that brisket, THREEE HUGE sides and SIX cornbread muffins was well beyond worth it, this platter filled up six hard working farmers and became the talk of the day not to mention it is all made with love from earl himself š if you need that quality bar b que I would strongly recommend uncle earls! š„ Lastly, do not sleep on the banana pudding. There are no words to describe...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to the core last night to get some dinner... walked by Uncle Earl's smelled good so I decided to try it... Uncle Earl was really nice.. charismatic however.. when I asked about the hamburger that comes with beef and brisket and Texas toast for the bun.. he says yeah. it comes with Texas toast as the bun... I'm like sweet. this is going to be delicious... however, that wasn't the case. it came with a nasty Fran's white bun. the bottom was soggy. I didn't get the three corn muffins I ordered.. I didn't bother to check the order because he wasn't busy.. figured he would have remembered my order.. also, the banana pudding was missing the banana flavor so maybe you ran out of bananas and thought you'd just make vanilla pudding. I'm not sure. maybe taste test your stuff first before you put it out for the customers.. just a thought but I won't be back. very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was craving BBQ and I googled BBQ in my area and found Uncle Earl. Being from the Midwest I already had an idea of what his bbq style might be like and boy I was right! It was exactly what I was craving. I got the pork rib platter and my coworker got the 3 meat treat platter. He got spicy BBQ sauce and I got the sweet. Both are amazing and both are sweet but the spicy has a little more zing. Ribs were perfectly done and brisket was delicate and juicy and some fat which I love! Cornbread is sweet and the Mac and cheese was phenomenal! Chicken was also great as well, but my favorite were the pork ribs! Not overdone when they pull off the bone. You need a little meat to stay on and that's how he does them. Earl's got a customer for life! 5 stars- highly...
