Upright Brewing Beer Station — Restaurant in Portland

Perfectly satisfactory place to get a beer. Particularly if you’re from the neighborhood. For me it was more of a destination and check it out. I was curious because it’s in the neighborhood I grew up in, but much has changed. Upright has really great beers, including a cask. Small interior seating area, a large tv with sports. A few outdoor covered picnic tables, and a food truck which didn’t happen to be open because we arrived close to closing time. Noting super special about this place. Went to the new beer station thinking because it just opened it would be quiet… oh boy was I wrong! In a neighborhood needing a place like this the support the night we went was awesome! An old gas station remodeled into a coffee shop (@juniors) and tap room serving up sone of PDX’s best brews! A sandwich food cart is opening soon as well as more outside seating. I dig this bar.

I’m so glad to see the space become something positive at all, especially a bar/coffee shop, super especially with the park blocks just across the street.

It’s been a chill place to sit outside on a warm Portland summer night, drinking one’s way through a condensed tap list that’s still varied enough to please a local.
