I’m writing to express a serious concern regarding my experience at your location this evening(approximately 7:45 PM). I visited the drive-through to order food for my child, who has severe food allergies. As always, I requested that precautions be taken to avoid cross-contamination. I ordered six Jr. hamburgers with only ketchup and a large fry.
Upon receiving the order, we checked the food at the window, as we always do and discovered that all the burgers had cheese on them. Cheese can trigger a life-threatening allergic reaction in my child, which I explained to the employee at the window. She was kind and apologetic, which I appreciated.
However, when I asked to speak with the manager, the situation became deeply concerning. The shift manager, Marcos, approached and simply said “yeah” when I began explaining the issue. I mentioned that we’ve been loyal customers at this location for over ten years and have never had issues like this and unfortunately, this has happened the last three visits in a row.
Rather than taking the concern seriously, Marcos responded dismissively with, “We’re not perfect and the cooks are Spanish-speaking.” I told him I understood that mistakes happen, but the lack of care and acknowledgment was unacceptable, especially when a child’s life is at risk. He showed no empathy, no apology, and seemed irritated that I was even speaking to him. When I pointed that out, he said, “I’ve been here since 2pm and haven’t got any breaks, and I’m not trying to help anyone today.”
This response was not only unprofessional but also alarming. It’s concerning that a manager openly admits to being unwilling to assist customers, especially when dealing with such a serious issue.
To make matters worse, one of the cooks came to the window and attempted to hand us back the same incorrect food, saying it was “okay.” I reiterated that cheese could cause anaphylactic shock in my son and that it was absolutely not okay. He shrugged and walked away.
At this point, I asked for a refund and informed them I would follow up with the store manager directly.
I urge you to take this matter seriously, not only for the safety of customers with food allergies but also to address the unacceptable behavior and attitude displayed by your shift manager. I’m happy to discuss this further and hope to see improvements made to...

Read moreI would like to say, I’ve gotten food from them before, and usually do good. But this order I made today was the worst one I’ve seen from them. I ordered through the app, only to be left sitting for nearly 40 minutes waiting for the DoorDash driver just to leave the store, then after sitting watching him go to nearly every place that wasn’t my street, he finally pulled in. Blamed the Wendy’s for its customer service, and promptly said “sorry not sorry” for my order. Needless to say I was appalled. Now while I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt (we’re all humans and we’re prone to mistakes) this just ruined my experience. I was hungry, tired and had a terrible day. Anyways I took the food inside, hungry as ever. Putting it down I opened it to find that I was missing a cookie and drink, and that my jr cheeseburger still had its onions when I put no onion and they never added bacon. The food was bland and cold and it made me sad to see. The only thing I could give the order props for is that they didn’t screw up my jr bacon cheeseburger. And the Rick and Morty drinks that I bought, that I didn’t even gain the third drink that I should have reserved. This has made me now way to worried about using your app to order, as it seems you are prone to errors. I know we all make mistakes but having my order be wrong and be an hour late, left cold and wrong is a pretty...
