This place is a godsend!! Growing up in Hampton Roads, going to an ice cream parlor was always a joyous treat but unfortunately, there are a lot less stores now. During a lunch outing with my sisters, we decided to take a walk on High Street and came upon this store. We decided to go in and immediately I received a warm greeting from a beautiful young woman. She showed us the menu, and asked us if we wanted to taste samples. The names of the ice cream were awesome, like Empower-Mint. I was excited to see my hard-to-find, absolute favorite ice cream on the menu: strawberry Cheesecake but I decided to try the Banana Pudding Ice Cream first. It was delicious but when I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake, the rich, quality of the ice cream, I couldn't resist. My response to the ice cream convinced my sister to get a scoop without even tasting a sample. We walked out like two little ecstatic girls on a hot, summer day.
The bonus for me is this business was started by six young teenage girls!! This spot is a definite go to for me. I will support and promote this business from now on. Try it out!! From the quality of the products, the cleanliness of the location and the superb customer service, you won't be...
Read moreWaited about 30 minutes, there was one guy in-front of us. Paid $20 for a milkshake and 1 scoop of ice cream. Ended up getting our milkshake wrong, had asked for no toppings. When i informed them that it was made wrong, they just scooped it out and left whipped cream remains in the milkshake. If I’m paying $13 for a milkshake I would expect it to be done right, or to atleast correct their mistake and make a new one. Instead they seemed annoyed and bothered that I asked to have it fixed and just took the lazy route. I also asked for sprinkles on my daughter’s one scoop of ice cream, there were maybe 20 individual sprinkles on that cone and thats me being generous. Never returning and would rather go to McDonalds...
Read moreWas excited to have desert place in Portsmouth. Place was nice, very large but empty inside, lots of open space. Two young women working who were friendly and attentive no complains on service. Spent $10 on a sundae (two scoops, two syrups plus sprinkles and whipped cream) which I thought was reasonable. They were out of caramel syrup no big deal. But ice cream was super basic, didn’t find menu particularly special. Seems kinda like a facade for influencers - bright and pretty inside with a walk of artificial flowers/greenery for photo opps. Happy to have something here I don’t gotta pay a toll to go to but won’t be back - I’ll just buy stuff from Kroger. Again no complaints on service or price but...
