A Passionate Review of Greater Grinders in Portsmouth:
Iāve been a loyal customer of Greater Grinders for years, but sadly, something has drastically changed within the past 6 months to a year. Whether itās a shift in ownership or management, the quality of the food has taken a noticeable dive. What used to be my go-to spot for delicious sandwiches has now left me disappointed and frustrated.
Letās start with the portions: theyāve noticeably shrunk. From smaller chip bags to skimpier bread and portions, it feels like every corner is being cut. The tuna, which was once fresh and flavorful, now tastes like it's been swapped for a lower-quality version. What happened to the good stuff?
On top of that, theyāve changed the drink sizes and switched from the sturdy styrofoam cups we all loved to cheap plastic ones. While I understand the need to keep up with new protocols, thereās no reason they need to sacrifice quality to maintain a profit. It's as if theyāve completely disregarded what made their food special in the first place.
One thing I can still appreciate is the service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, that doesnāt make up for the food just not being good anymore.
Until they go back to the quality Iāve grown accustomed to, I wonāt be returning. I sincerely hope they listen to their loyal customers and make the necessary changes because Iād love to come back. But for now, itās...

I didn't get food till 11:36am. Looked disappointing soon as I unwrapped it. I assumed my sub would be toasted and then my lettuce and tomatoes would be added just my assumption but anyway could tell that they cooked a single steakum no salt or pepper or anything then made up my sub with onions lettuce, tomatoes and peppers and put it in oven.. was really toasty and dry and plain. My tomatoes and lettuce were soft mushy and very warm. I went ask for Mayo packs and salt and pepper but it was just not good I ate 3 bites and wrapped it back up and left. I paid almost $11 for something I didn't eat...I'm glad I didn't get a whole sub maybe i expected to much this was my first time at this location. Quite a few customers came in to this location but I won't be going back to...

But when you order a club you expect there to be meat on it. They must be struggling hard to put out that kind of quality sub. If you think subway is bad with their meat.. you havenāt seen anything yet. I would not ever waste money here again unless they change their quality. I used to really love this place, and I enjoy supporting small local businesses, but this was a...
