Original Review * Unfortunately, I made the mistake of hiring HRCT for an IT project at my business, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. The job was straightforward—install three WiFi bucks, a switch, a rack, run Cat 6 through existing conduit, and add two drops. For this, I was charged an eye-watering $7,000. At that price point, I expected unbelievable professionalism, efficiency, and a company that values its customers. HRCT delivered none of that.
From start to finish, they were completely disorganized. Their sales team failed to communicate my needs to the execution team, leading to avoidable mistakes and confusion. As an end user, I should not be the one coordinating their internal operations just to ensure my project gets completed correctly. They installed a drop nowhere near the location I requested, forcing me to troubleshoot their mistake. Even worse, they left my business security system detached from the new switch they installed—without informing anyone about it. This level of carelessness is inexcusable, especially for an IT company that should understand the importance of connectivity and security.
Their inability to communicate with their clients is glaring. This was not a complex project, yet their sales team could not translate my clear needs into an industry appropriate contract. The disconnect made me feel I was upsold for something I clearly did not need. As the one hiring this company, I felt like they never truly listened to what I needed in the first place.
Beyond the botched communication and poor execution, what really stood out was their complete lack of interest in customer retention. I own several businesses that all require ongoing IT upgrades. Their failure on this project didn’t just lose them one job—it lost them thousands of dollars in recurring annual revenue. A company that operates this way isn’t just making mistakes; they’re actively driving away long-term clients.

Every time I am having an issue with my computer, they were able to troubleshoot the problem and resolve it quickly and efficiently... except for the one time when the computer forgot how to tell time... but that was a Lenovo issue and he solved that one too... we just had to wait for a part to come in!

They were very patient and understanding. They didn't get frustrated when I didn't understand something or when I asked a lot of questions. And I ask a TON of questions. They were very knowledgeable about computers. They were able to quickly identify the problem and resolve it. They even know the proper names for all of the computer doohickeys and how to translate what I am saying is going wrong into IT speak. -They took the time to explain the issue to me in a way that I could understand. They didn't just fix the problem and then leave. They took the time to explain what had happened and how to prevent it from happening again... and they did this in computer doohickey language so even a non IT person...

Where it has taken me over a week to swap out an old computer with a new one (with all software, data files, etc... operating as they should)---HRCT accomplished within hours without any operating glitches! When a data backup solution was required, HRCT walked me through all the available options with associated Pros & Cons, and helped me to implement. As I continue to use my computers & technology for work---HRCT reminds & conducts regular maintenance to keep my system at peak performance, where I would otherwise neglect.
