We ordered our food, a frisco breakfast with cinnamon biscuits at 10:26am. They handed us the soda and told us to pull around to the door on the other side and wait for our food. Mind you, this is a fast food place, where most food takes less than 10 minutes to make. We waited 20 minutes and nobody showed up, so I went inside, waited in line and was next to be seen, but another customer went around me and cut in line, like I was a nobody. Really?! Sheesh, how some are raised, these days. Anyway, I finally made it to the cashier, showed her my receipt, explaining that we never got our food. She took the receipt, gave it to the cooks and told them it was for outside. I waited longer, the cashier was bagging food and handing it off to customers. A couple more drivers came in complaining they never received their food. We waited as the other drivers got their refund and when I realized I needed my card for the refund, I went out to the car to get it so they could refund our money, also. When I returned, the cashier placed a bag on the counter and said, “Here you go” Then my husband asked, “What’s this?” She replied, “It’s your order”. My husband said, “No, I said I wanted a refund”. She responded with, “You could’ve told me! You saw me bagging your food!” Thing she didn’t seem to realize was we stood there for half an hour, watching her bag food we thought was ours, only for her to hand it off to someone else. So how were we know the food she was bagging was ours? And if she had just stopped to listen to us, she would’ve heard us tell her we wanted a refund. Now, I’m not making blatant accusations, and I hope my observations were just a coincidence; but even so, they need to work on their PR skills, because I could not help but notice that everyone who was waiting for 40 minutes were white, and I did not see one white customer receive their order right away. Even if it is just a coincidence, and I really hope it is, they should be more courteous toward their customers regardless of who they are. Nobody should be asked to wait that long for their food. My husband never wants to return. Personally, I could care less, because I could give or take their food. However, if we do return and are asked to pull around, we will refuse, and stay there until they give us our food or our refund. If certain items require extra time to prepare, they should indicate this on the menu before we even order it. I don’t recall ever ordering from them without being told to wait for someone to bring it out. This idea of making the drivers pull around and wait for the food is a bad habit that promotes laziness and apathy. And the food we ordered, a frisco and cinnamon biscuits, should not take 40 minutes to make. Another issue I had with them is while my husband was waiting for the manager, I looked around and noticed the floors were filthy and one of the high chairs had disgusting clumps of food on it. I deliberately refused to use the restroom while I was there, because I figured if the lobby was that nasty, I didn’t even want to see the restroom. This store has potential, and I am deliberately omitting the employees names because I am not trying to embarrass anyone. I know the employees can do a much better job, but it requires pride in their business and respect for others. Hopefully the next visit will be a more positive experience, but it would take quite a bit of effort convincing my husband to return, because this seemed like the last straw. It’s not the first time we were asked to wait, but it was the worst experience we’ve had with them. Hopefully things will change over there, and I can make this review a more positive one. Do I want to be treated special? Do I expect them to jump at the snap of my fingers? Of course not. I’ve waited several times for them to bring out our orders, and never left a review. But I do expect common courtesy when I conduct a business transaction with anyone, no matter how major or minor....
Read moreI am a longtime Hardee's fan, but this store is the absolute worse Hardee's that I have ever ordered from. To be clear, this review is not written based on a one time trip through the drive-thru. This evaluation is based on four separate experiences during lunch. Each day thw order was WRONG, missing special addition items, or missing food. The first time, I chalked it up to the business drive thru. The second time, I thought the mistake was due to a young staff. The third time, it was because of a particular shift crew. The fourth time--what the hell! This is simply a poorly managed store and will eventually hemorrhage money, if they aren't already. The customer service is on par with you would expect from the angry high school lunch lady, as your food is basically hurled at you without a greeting, sorry for your wait, thank you, or have a nice day. This store does not express the values of the CEO, Ned Lyerly, and Hardee's at large. The Chief Development and Human Resources Officers should take keen interest in this store as they are not representing the parent company well. This store needs to learn to do thw basics well, because when the world emerges from social distancing restrictions, this store, and Hardee's corporation, will have missed an opportunity to make their...
