McDonald's — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I stood in line for over 15 minutes, there was no one behind me, but when it was my turn to be waiting on I was informed they were not taking any more orders, even though the outside had many cars in the drive thru and there were people off on the machines. They took the ppl in front of me so why couldn't they take my order of 2 happy meals for my grandbabies? They were rude about it and just walked away as I was talking. Rude, very rude staff. I will not go to Wheelersburg McDonald's again. I would rather go to Burger King if I have to go anywhere on Wheelersburg .

Second chance, grandbabies wanted a happy meal, we stopped at Wheelersburg because it was closer. I went through the drive thru and after getting the drinks I had to park and wait. They brought out my sandwiches from my order but not the happy meals. I was treated like I was lying about them so I showed the receipt. The girl then took the receipt in and got the happy meals. This started to be a 3 star and has now plummeted to a 1 star. I will never return to this McDonalds again. I already thought the restaurant was slow as it is, but today was even more horrendous and helped me decide to just eat elsewhere. I arrived at McDonalds at 11AM, ordered my food at the kiosk because the cashiers are so slow. I ordered my food, waited 25 minutes while those who ordered after me were already leaving the restaurant. I became impatient because there was no reason for my order to be taking so long. I asked an employee where my order was, they said my order was lost but then found and apologized for the inconvenience. Management is rude as can be to their employees, if you have a high turnover rate then I’m really not surprised. Brought my food home and find out that my 1/4 pounder was undercooked. 25 minutes for undercooked food. Not sure who runs this location, but they need to find a way to improve order times, locations of the orders and food temperature. At least I won’t have to wait in a long line that goes out on to the main road anymore so this is a bit...

I am not happy with this McDonald's and unfortunately this is one of the better ones in this area.

My dad and I went to "eat in" on the way to a medical appointment this morning. We ordered to eat inside and were given a little table marker (#13) for McDonald's staff to bring us our food. We waited over 15 minutes only to find out that our food had been bagged "to go". We had to go and ask where our food was to even find this out. No apology was given. No adjustment was made to the fact that we couldn't actually eat in (tax).

The food, that I had to eat in a rush on the trip up to my appointment this morning, was cold, greasy, burnt, and barely assembled. They didn't even give my dad the right sandwich.

They were not busy at the time we were there. It was a slow morning both in the drive thru and inside.

I will probably be late for my medical appointment this morning.

I don't blame the entry level and poorly paid workers there either. All blame goes to the managers who should have made sure that things like this, that are way too common here,...
