This is a take-out review for Otto. While I've only done take-out here, I felt it was time to give them a review! I've ordered delivery on Doordash, probably 5 or 6 times. I always ordered a pizza and loved it, but my one experience in ordering a salad was less than impressive. I thought I'd try to order a salad again, because as you know, sometimes restaurants have an "off" night. But I have to say, my last order was worth a huge shout-out! 🎉I ordered a Cobb salad, which was loaded with goodness! Super fresh crisp greens, generous helping of blue cheese and bacon crumbles, fresh veggies, and the dressing were delicious! I also ordered a pepperoni cup pizza and added ricotta (you must try that combo!). The pepperoni were crispy on the edges and partnered with the creamy ricotta it just melted in my mouth! This is a prime example of giving a restaurant another chance if you've had less than stellar food experience prior. I think Otto has settled into the community quite nicely and is offering up a delicious product! I think next time I order, I'll stop in and say hi, order a good draft beer, and enjoy the...
Read moreEvery time I've had pizza at any of the Otto's, it checks every box. Great crust; cooked on the bottom, springy, stretchy, not cakey. The toppings go to the edge and are delicious - cupping pepperoni slices, seriously, is an option. But I go here is for the salads. There is no place in the seacoast that has bigger, fresher salads. And I've looked. If anyone knows of better salads, let me know. If you order dinner-size, it WILL be dinner. Cobb is beautiful, loaded, and fresh. Fresh perfectly cooked bacon, fresh everything, well-chopped and dressed in a big bowl so you don't spend 15 minutes beating it into submission and losing half of it to the table. You can easily share 1 pizza and one dinner salad. Or just get the small salad which is the same as most large restaurant salads. Sometimes we split 2 salads, Cobb and Greek and that's a lot for two. I can't say enough about their salads - though I probably have. Good drink pours and the prices are reasonable. There's an Otto's in Portsmouth, Exeter...
Read moreThe building incorporates aspects of the original building but still keeps a very clean appearance. It is well lit and inviting. I ordered the spicy pulled pork, jalapeno and pineapple pizza which came in the normal time you would expect a pizza to come. When I received the pizza it truly looked like it was missing something. While the jalapenos were obvious and the pineapple was easy to spot there was so little pulled pork that even the server commented on it. If I were to have made this I would have simply called it a pineapple and jalapeno considering there were slices without even a touch of pulled pork on it. While I was a bit let down I will stick with my general mentality knowing that sometimes businesses had bad days. I am sure I will try this again, at some point, but if turns out to be their standard way of making these, I think...
