This place and the owner are a gem!! I came up on this store on a rainy March Saturday in need of some retail therapy and new clothes and I love consignment shopping. The owner Andrea was warm and welcoming from the minute I walked in and made me feel at home. Her selection is stellar ranging from clothes (which I bought a ton of at great prices....the woman has amazing taste and a great eye for items!) to jewelry to art, with an emphasis on supporting local women which I loved. The vibe was artsy and inclusive and made you want to linger, it was the most relaxing afternoon I have had in a long time and for that alone I am grateful. Andrea took the time to make each person feel special and seen, and talked about her process for selecting (and restoring!) items which shows how thoughtful she is in curating the perfect environment with special pieces. I will definitely be going back and love living in a community where we have such amazing business owners who care about creating an optimal experience. Thank you Andrea, and definitely make sure this store is on your list for a fun and unique day...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped into the Nest, Andrea's personable, professional and artistically passionate manner was evident. Her place reflects design talent and an eye for choosing and displaying an array of intriguing and eclectic merchandise. We went home thinking about a piece, then contacted her once home for details. After being receptive to our needs, she graciously offered to meet us on a Sunday, a day the shop is closed, to accommodate us in retrieving our one of a kind, beautifully painted bureau. To top this off, we had mentioned seeking a mirror. Andrea led us to potential spots, then later texted sending photos of a find on her day shopping. Taking our desired measurements, Andrea offered to keep her eye out for us. She goes above and beyond - Andrea genuinely loves what she does, and it shows! We will now make regular trips to the Nest as it is a fun journey where we never know what...
Read moreIf you’ve been searching for the sweetest shop with an even sweeter owner, look no further. Nest, conveniently nestled over on Albany Street near Brewery Lane owned by Andrea, is the most beautifully curated collection of vintage goods. The heart and soul that Andrea puts into her shop is unparalleled and bar none. As I was wondering the shop, I asked how she got into her line of work. She spoke of it being a lineage passed down by her father and spoke fondly of her first visit to a flea market when she was just 6 years old. She spoke to me of the energy in the vintage items she collects and her love for what she does cannot be duplicated. If you’re looking for a love of a shop and a love of a human, come to Andrea’s Nest. You won’t be...
