Normally I'd say the food is freaking great.

I said normally, but not this time. Called at 12:40pm ordered a large pizza, and was told 45 minutes for delivery. 1:45 tolled around and not a peep. I then called at 1:50pm I was told it it just a few minutes away. Pizza showed up at 2.14pm. That's a long time for a pizza I got to say. I called to let them know I just got it. The owner (lady) told me thst they only have one driver she will void the transaction but next time wither pick it up myself or don't call back and order anymore. (I buy food here 2x a week.) I understand it's not an all the time thing but approx $50 a week I spend at Portsmouth Pizza Factory. For me that is alot, especially when I'm ordering at 2pm during a slow time for their convenience, and I always tip well.

Honestly all you had to do was apologize. You didn't have to be rude as I wasn't rude to you.you were late. Double your quoted time. I deliver pizza for a locally VERY fast paced pizza establishment. I have never been late such as that. When you fall behind just call and let the customer know, or advertise for drivers if you only have one driver. I don't see any postings from Portsmouth Pizza Factory looking for drivers. Could have been handles...

I ordered 2 pizzas, large onion mushroom, small cheese. Feels like a fairly simple order, right? Well, if you’re Portsmouth pizza factory, it’s pretty difficult I guess.

Once the pizzas arrived, we were give. A large cheese, a small onion mushroom, and a small cheese.

I called the Portsmouth pizza factory to let them know about the extra pizza, not the wrong order( we were just going to deal with it).

The person on the phone was extremely rude right off the bat. She said “it’s not our fault if the order came wrong, you ordered wrong”. One, I didn’t care about the mistake, just worried we got someone else’s pizza. Two, ever hear of human decency or customer service.

The call ended with me being cussed out then hung up on. We ended up eating the pizza, absolutely gross. Greasy beyond belief. Toppings were soggy and gross. Sauce tasted like...

It's a yes from me, with a small caveat. Their pizza, which is their flagship product, was delicious!! Thank you for making my Sunday so much better. It was perfectly cooked - the dough had the perfect amount of crunch. Could have used more pineapple. Their subs are good - they don't toast the buns though if that's what you're into. Their salads are somewhat lackluster - they definitely buy and use the prepackaged lettuce and there aren't a lot of fresh vegetables to add onto it. They add a pita wrap to every salad which is nice. They are so friendly and welcoming. Wait times have always been excellent. Price vs. quality ratio is better here than anywhere downtown - excellent prices. They are open a full hour later than all the other restaurants on the West Side.
