Capone's is lucky the lowest rating they can receive is ONE STAR; because if I could rate NEGATIVE stars I definitely would! I have had several bad experiences at each location; but last night was the ABSOLUTE WORST and the last straw! Last night we ordered three large pizzas to go at approximately 9:00PM from the Post Falls location. A "Capone's", "Blue Ribbon" and a simple cheese with olives. The only modification was to the "Blue Ribbon" pizza, and we added extra cheese. Our Total came out to $78 and some change, we decided to tip for a total of $80. When we picked the pizzas up at 9:30PM we couldn't wait to eat them, they smelled delicious; but once we got home our opinions changed immediately. The "Capone's" and the "Blue Ribbon" looked identical and they were very different as one had peppers and one did not; not only did they look the same; they both looked less than appetizing. We figured we would give them a try anyway; needless to say they were absolutely DISGUSTING!!! There was hardly any cheese on either of them, the onions instead of being diced were literally huge chunks resembling onion straws, and they were EXTREMELY greasy; welcome to heartburn city. On the "Blue Ribbon" the basil garnish was no garnish at all; but instead chunks of basil similar to lettuce thrown onto the pizza dripping in grease. Overall, the "Capone's" and the "Blue Ribbon" were absolute failures. The simple cheese and olive pizza had like 3 pieces of sliced mozzarella and an overabundance of olives, half of the pizza was under-cooked and the other half was borderline burnt. Upon biting into the pizza you were met with a dry, crusty piece of bread that was bland with the taste and texture of olives: NO THANK YOU!!! I couldn't pay the restaurant a return visit that evening as they had closed; so the next day I returned at approximately 7:00PM WITH PIZZAS MISSING 1 AND 2 SLICES to discuss my less than satisfactory experience. When I asked for a manager the employee went back to get this person (so I thought); but returned herself to tell me there was nothing they could do. I asked if the manager would come speak with me and she said no; I asked if she was sure this was how Capone's wanted to conduct their business and she said "yep, maybe we can prevent this from happening next time." I assured her this would NEVER happen again as I would NEVER be returning or spending a hard earned dime in any of their establishments EVER AGAIN. Upon this review I have sent an email to the manager of the Post Falls location and am awaiting a response, but I do NOT expect to receive one as this establishment could care less about their customer's satisfaction...
Read moreI used to come here with my family and by myself a lot and always tipped my waitress 10+ on regardless of what was order because they were always worth it. So you might be asking why a 1 star then, that's because of my most recent visit. Today I went in while I was waiting for a buddy and sat down. Usually I don't have to order my drink (Irish trash can) because they know me but today I got someone new, a guy that I have never seen before. Mind you in the food industry if someone asks to sit at the bar they have to be ID before sitting there so they know they are of legal age. He asked for my ID when I order, I gave it to him even though I thought it was weird anyways. I order my drink and food just to get a text saying my buddy was already there so I tell him cancel the food and I'll pay for my drink. The man tells me I can't it's been made I have to pay for it. First off I don't have to pay for anything I don't want just cause you used the ingredients, Secondly you can't force someone to take something they do not want anymore, so that being said after 10 years I will no longer returning sadly. There are far greater places to dine and not feel like you're getting held hostage over...
Read moreVery disappointed! My husband and I met our Son, daughter in law and our 1 and 2 year old grandsons for dinner about 7:30. Sat at a table and immediately I managed to get a huge sliver in my finger from the table top. I let the server know that I was glad it wasn't one of the babies, he came back with scotch tape to cover the edge and said they would take care of it tomorrow.. We ordered 3 sandwiches, a special and 2 kids mac & cheese, 1 coffee, 1 soda 2 beers and an appetizer. My chicken sandwich showed up as a burger and had to be remade. 1 coffee refill and 2 more beers. Got the bill and it was $106 ....what?? They added almost $16 gratuity!! I waited to speak to the manager...never once did the server or manager ask if I was ok...and when asked about the added gratuity.....apparently it is added at servers discretion! We were obviously too large of a table and asked for more than he thought we should! I paid the bill and told her I will not be back and I will be sure to let my friends know! Sadly they have lost customers that have enjoyed their establishment several times a month...
