Unfortunately, not a good experience. Id like to preface this by saying the restaurant itself was great, clean, very friendly staff, they truly go above and beyond to give you a great experience, it's just the McDs franchise needs to improve their food in my opinion. Many ppl like McDs food, and if you do you'll love this place. I just have different preferences and prefer real beef with thick patties, full lettuce and tomato, and thick potato fries, I wish McDs would offer that, don't you?. We stopped eating at McDonalds 6 yrs. ago due to smaller burgers, tiny patties, stick think fries, not even real burger or potatos, cardboard like food and higher prices. Again, many ppl like McDs. This is my opinion. We like Wendy's fresh full beef Patty and large size burger with whole fresh lettuce, fresh sliced tomato, real cheese, it makes a WORLD of difference when it's fresh real food, not microwaved. I WISH McDs would do this, millions of ppl would buy their food. Today, we decided to try McDs, regretted it. Remember, this is feedback to improve and not insults. To start, my 5 yr old asked why it smelled like corn. Sadly, It did. The burgers had no taste, no beef taste, nothing except the sauce, we couldn't finish them and we we're HUNGRY. The fries were like sticks of fried stale cardboard, not a nice thick crisp potato fry. We literally ate 3. The McFlurry was meh, like too much water in soft serve ice cream. Frozen, not melted. M&Ms we're yummy and painted the spoon but I always wonder why they don't just do soft serve w m&Ms on top instead of expensive spoons and blenders. It ended up hurting our stomachs, we stopped eating it. Its been like this at all McDs that we have gone to years ago as well so I feel McDs should model their food after Wendy's and Carl's Jr. Fresh, Real, Big sizes. McDs is already more expensive than Wendy's and Carl's Jr. so they could change it and not increase cost (if Wendy's can do it for less so can you). Again, constructive criticism. Many people like McDs food, so this is a great place if you like it. Restaurant and staff are fantastic. I like a beef burger with thick, potato fries and real veggies. To each their own. I look forward to seeing McDs take on the new era of fast food and improve their food to real and fresh food and veggies, larger portions, and delicious recipe's. Bbq burgers are always a win! Perhaps a nice Chipotle burger, but the key is Real. Your turn,...
Read moreThe fact that I know my son will have fun and EAT is a good feeling, plus I can relax a little! They have a good range of food, ranging from your normal Triple Bacon Cheeseburger and their signature fries to selections of healthier alternatives like salads and yummy Chicken Wraps. The children's play gym is in its own big room attached to the dining area with Windows so you can see through them. They offer throw away socks if your kid happens to not have any on, which happens to us a lot as parents. lol They also have a hand wipe station in the play area so you can wipe your kid's hands and your own after playing in the two story jungle gym. In the children's section, which is where I spend most of my visits, they have a special section where kids can go in and throw balls around and have a couple activities to do while in there. While you eat, they have the newspapers, brochures, and our towns special papers called Nickel's Worth and The Tidbits to entertain you and keep your mind on something else other than life. And in my opinion they have the best cold coffee beverages a fast food...
Read moreFor the last 4-6 months I've been stopping at the McDonald's occasionally on my way home from Post Falls. I usually order a Cheeseburger Deluxe and a happy meal for my kid. On almost every visit there, the order is either screwed up or the food is made so hastily corners are skipped more often than they should. For an example, when I got home to eat after a visit to the drive-thru, once again my deluxe was made with a few shavings of lettuce and it was missing tomatoes along with one pickle. My Crispy Chicken sandwich came with two pickles on it and nothing else, no sauce. On other times, my son's happy meal with extra fries is missing the extra part for sure, the kids fries wasn't even full.
Anyway, today was the last straw for me and I'll be going to the Liberty Lake McDonald's from here on out. Not sure about your experience, but the staff at the Pleasant View exit's McDonald's is either severely rushed or they have some poor management to train or monitor the quality control of...
