Updated Review: It is an amazing place to eat there. They have all kinds of great comfort foods we love. Hot Dogs, Burgers, Wraps, Shakes, Sundaes, Coffee, Smoothies, BBQ Midwestern Ribs, Chicken, and much more. The family has been running it two generations. They work hard to keep their small franchise in town. My mom worked there in the 1960's as one of her first jobs. It is a place to make memories and should be a historical landmark and restaurant in Franklinton/Lincoln Village as well. In the summer or winter, it is fun to go there. Even through it is a little retro.

Best local Hot Dog, Shakes, and Sundae shop. Originally from the 1960's & 70's. They serve amazing local meals, very clean, very neat, and a great local, family business to work at. We need to save this place from developers, before we not only poison ourselves and food supplies, but lose our identity in the Midwest, and wonderful historical places of great restaurants and wonderful families running amazing places to eat and make memories with loved ones at.

Directions: If coming from Dublin, OH, you either go Route 33 to route 40/West Broad street, and keep going towards Rome Hilliard Rd., it is next to a flower shop. Or use Cosgrey Rd. towards Scioto Darby and stay on it, then turn left or west, till ot becomes West Broad street, then it past the casinos, but 5 strip malls before Joanne's Craft Store and Library.

If coming from Grove City, OH, you go 270 N to West Broad or 33 N to Broad Street (Rt.40), If coming from New Albany, OH, You can either go 270 S, then 270 E, to West Broad or 33 S to Rt. East Broad St, then stay until it turns into West Broad, past the casinos, right before Rome Hilliard Road, near The Giant Eagle and KFC, it is 5 strip malls away. If coming from Lewis Center, OH, go South 23 to 270 W and then use either 33 S to 40 W to before the Rome Hilliard...

Listen one and listen all when I tell you, this place is an absolute gem! I know they have been in business for years but I recently just discovered them and omg 😲 the prices are amazing ( Like I can feed 3 people for 25$s amazing), the food is always made to order, always correct and so warm! They also package big orders in this awesome sideways like way that really make it easy to carry and hardly anything ever spills out. The inside is very much like a time capsule with Pepsi and Coke memorabilia and chrome on the walls and floor. They also decorate the inside for each season. The ice cream, of which there is a bunch, is located directly to the left of the cash registers and if youre really nice 😉 they will let you take a peak at the selection. When you walk in there is a loud bell that signals your arrival lol but honestly, I kindof like that because they KNOW you're coming and always greet you within 30 seconds, if that. There is limited seating inside with 5, I think, tables and chairs but I know in the summer they put chairs and tables outside. When outside they also have an awning to help with sun and rain. They also have a drive through AND a mini window that's just for getting ice cream which is really cool. Every person who has taken my order has always been polite, professional and quick. No wonder they have lasted as long as they have; its because the employees and business is awesome! My job and I order from here all the time and they never disappoint. Love you guys and keep up...

Before writing this, I did review other reviews for this place before writing myself to see if maybe I was an outlier. Seems like there's a few complaints, but none seem to be responded to cept one.

Been here a few times, and the food is always "ok". It's never been delicious or "hitting that spot" for me. Just something to put in my stomach for an ok price. Most food lacks flavor except for the toppings of the coney dog, which is just a basic hot dog with some toppings from what I can tell. No foot-longs like other coney places I've been to. Or they're hidden on the menu so I don't notice them.

Service is always lackluster as they don't have a dedicated cashier. It's just whoever doesn't have a task at the time. So this means there may not be anyone who even acknowledges you for 5+ minutes, despite people walking around making food, filling drinks, or whatever else needs done.

Also had 2 orders but paid by one card. They took the orders separately, but mis-bagged everything so we had to figure out whose food was whose despite being given 2 bags. Whoever made the food clearly didn't seem to care.

The dining room looks...

All you need is a few bucks for a full meal! Tony’s Coneys has been around for 7 decades, thanks in no small part to their cheap prices, delicious Coney dogs, and their incredible ice cream. This is the perfect spot for ballin’ on a budget! 🌭 Tony’s Coneys 5266 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43228 #cheap #cheapeats #cheapfood #coneys #coneydog #tonysconeys #columbusohio #columbus #cbus #cbusfoodscene

I was a little disappointed in my experience here. I thought it would be a quick meal but it took around 40-50 minutes for me to get my food. Started in the drive thru, after 10 minutes of waiting with no cars moving I decided to go inside. Went to the walk up window and a guy waiting said he had been there waiting for a while with no help. Sooo I went inside. Maybe they’re understaffed but I think they need to figure out a better system with so many ways to order. She forgot I ordered chili cheese fries so she gave me a side of chili and cheese last minute. The coney was just okay. Their menu outside is not updated and has the wrong prices. They also charged me for “sports peppers” (no idea what those are) for each coney I ordered but there were no peppers on any of them. Prices are reasonable.

Other than the onion rings, nothing else was all that special. The hotdogs are just boiled grocery-store grade (think pack of 12 at aldi's) drowning in cold buns of the same quality. The sundae packaging needs a re-think as I wasn't able to fit the sundae spoon into the lid, and removing the lid meant spilling ice cream because of the height it was filled. Very awkward. I regret not checking my bag before leaving as they missed both side sauces I requested. But the service was just too slow for me with too long of a drive thru line to even consider going back for it, and I even had ordered ahead so they had plenty of time to get it right. Considering the quality of ingredients and overall experience, this is definitely not a deal, you get what you pay for here!
