The service was nice not overly special but friendly. I did end up paying 10 dollars more than I should have.i thought the order was expensive but I honestly did not look at the cost of the burritos before buying and later went online to play with online ordering and realized that I overpaid. I'm not mad though the food was worth the extra cost just disappointed in myself for not catching it sooner. The chicken quesidilla was incredible but I would have liked more cheese. The chorizo quesidilla was good but equally needed more cheese. The al pastor burrito was good but I think I would have preferred chicken the al pastor tasted a little too sweet for my liking,I could taste Cinnamon. The chimichanga for dessert was my absolute everything I have never eaten something so delicious that I could have died happy from it.
Edit I went back a week later and have decided not to go back. The service was not friendly this time and employees were arguing with each other. My quesidilla was half the size it was a week ago like they used a taco shell instead of a burrito shell. My burrito bowl did not have cheese or guacamole like it was supposed to and the rice was almost nonexistent. The rice that was there was bland and wet like instant that did not absorb the water properly before being served. The steak was chopped overcooked and flavorless. It was slightly more then ground beef but not by much. For the price I should have gone to chipolte it would have been made right and had more flavor. The chimichanga was also less flavored this time like they didn't add sugar to the cream cheese this time and the gave half as much carmel sauce. This place has a real problem with consistency. It might be good and made right or...
Read moreOne star is generous and is mostly for the cubana sandwich. Service and the other food ordered was bland and not worth the price we paid. We tried to order two street tacos with flour tortillas, no other or additional craziness, just changing the corn tortilla for a flour one and the person taking our order kept repeating back what we were saying, which was steak and beef, completely incorrectly. "Two steak?" No, just one beef taco and one steak taco. "One taco?" No....two tacos, one steak and one the mixed beef. I had to walk away because after repeating myself 4 times I was over it. My husband ordered a burrito. He never got it despite the person reading back his order (correctly). They bring your food out to you and when we tried to ask what everything was because they brought this random thing of tacos out, she just walked away from us to let us try and figure it out. We were still waiting on his burrito at this point and he finally went up and they said that the order was right and handed him (finally) an actual receipt which had literally not even close to what we ordered, nor was it what she read back to my husband when she placed the order. I don't know if it was just an off day or what but we had a decent sized group of people and we all were completely disappointed. There are better authentic taco places in Columbus - this is NOT...
Read moreFirst time visitor impressions 5 pm: ears assaulted by very loud horrid 'technical musica'; prefer authentic Latino sounds. No greeter. No bartender. I stood around and found my way over to the back counter where a woman looked toward me and I asked how to order, where to sit, etc. She was not friendly however. I had just come from the gym so I nevertheless ordered to-go 3 Tacos - pastor, brisket, chicken - and a grilled cactus side. I sat by myself in the bar area. 2 tables already had food, nobody at bar, nobody else waiting. I waited 24 minutes and then stood up to ask the counter lady when my to-go order may be ready cuz I'm ready to leave. Dragged it all home finally. Tacos were meh. Pastor not seasoned well at all. Same with Brisket which as also had fat & gristle, not much beef. Chicken was dry & bland. Grilled cactus was limp, no grill marks or grill flavor, looked & tasted like maybe boiled then dipped into some oil: not good - don't order this ever. My memory says all this cost close to $20. Taco Nice is so unremarkable I had to find something else to eat because I was still hungry being unable to eat the gristly brisket taco or that oily cactus. Take a pass on Taco Nice and instead spend your time & dime at any local taco food truck or hey,...
