Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Prairie Village

The food is pretty good I can't really complain but at the same time I don't think I can give any reason that their food is any better or different than competitors and the price is absolutelyridiculous tbh half sub and chips is $16+ like woah that's crazy, maybe those prices are OK in Jersey Mike but here in the Midwest we can get 100 different sub sandwiches with the same quality as yours considering this seems to be a watered down over priced Goodcents copycat but again the food was pretty good and the service was OK if you enjoy teenage kids bad mouthing a coworker that seemed to be fired or let go earlier in the night and they planned on not doing their best work on the close that night as they were going to blame it on the coworker that was let go. Good plan fellas maybe just wait for customers to not be present while concocting your plan unless that's the Jersey way because as we know Jersey has a high bar of standards lol to bring this all together the food is good but can be found just about anywhere the price is outrageous and the service is lacking experience but if you like a good drama they might entertain you a bit. FIRST and LAST time eating at this place. I got a tuna sandwich that was practically sliding offwhen I picked it up because it was so messy and the sandwich was soggy. I called to see about getting this rectified and the guy that answered didn't want to give his name . He said it was private . I should of known at that point how my experience was going to go . However after him giving the 3rd degree he proceeds to tell me he is a MANAGER. I explained to him I was a new customer and I was disappointed because my sandwich was very soggy . He told me that in " his opinion " his exact words ..that it sounds like I made a mistake because I didn't know what I was doing and now I'm calling to blame them. I said sir I never said any of that! He proceeds to be very combative and insult my intelligence rather than offer solutions ..and as I was trying to explain he cuts me off and says well " I have other people up here so I have to go or you can talk to someone else " then ask for my name and number . I placed an order online in the special instructions asked for lite onions, peppers, add jalapeños. Extra Chipotle mayo, lettuce & pickles on the side. I received the driest sandwich ever. Nothing I requested was provided. I filled out a customer service concern, because the sandwich was so bad. What I received was an apology. No hey here's a free cookie for your inconvenience, or let us replace your sandwich. This was not my normal JM, there were several orders from people in our office. Which over 1/2 had concerns about their food. When I responded to the customer service rep she advised replacing my sandwich was not an option & it's based on an individual experience. They have received my last dime. I hope it was worth it. Anytime someone suggest sandwiches for lunch I will remind them as to why we will NOT ever order from Jersey Mike's again.
