Service sucked. Can't rate the food or drinks b/c we NEVER got served!! Arrived on a Saturday night, man behind bar told us to sit anywhere, some one would be right with us. Sat on patio out back. Waited....waited....waited... waited.... another couple came out...still waiting, waitress came out looked right at our table made eye contact, turned to other couple said "your food just arrived" and left. We waited ...and waited .... and waited then finally left, (16 minutes waiting). NO ONE said anything to us. Not sure how this place stays in business, even if it is the "neighborhood place" We wont be back. Oh and by the way Kim at Long-branch was very happy to see us come in and spend $65.28 on drinks and food! She thanks you for her $20.00 tip for the service she provided so well! I guess the only good is the revenue the city obtains from your patrons that do get served and leave only to get...
Read moreWe went to this location on Friday evening. When we walked in no one was at the hostess stand. We stood there for about 5 minutes and then seated ourselves. I know when we go to Johnnies the service is going to be extremely slow. I didn’t expect my husband to be insulted TWICE! He ordered coke when the server replied she said Diet Pepsi ? His response was Dr Pepper, again she said diet Dr Pepper. At no time did he mention the word diet. It’s appalling and very presumptuous for the server to continue saying diet when it was never mentioned by him. He said his chicken was quite good. My pizza was burnt and had very little sauce or cheese. It literally cracked when I tried to fold it to eat it. Again, the service is unbearably slow and as you can see from the pictures it was not busy. We’ve been to Johnnies in OP; again slow service but excellent food. This will be our first and last time at...
Read moreMusic was too low, at several points i could hear multiple employees complaining about being overworked and tired. Heater was blasting on the patio and it was 75⁰ outside. Lastly, I know its a business with overhead but with tax my 12oz. Bottle of IPA was ~$9. I'm ignorant but it seems a bit much for a locally made beer. Say we set that point aside, maybe I'm spoiled or have too high of standards but if you're going to serve someone a bottle of beer that costs them $10+ when gratuity is included, wouldn't you think it would be appropriate to offer a glass. I had to specifically ask for one in addition to the bottle, the glass was warm room temperature and then pour it myself. . .what did I even go in for? I could've gone to Quicktrip and payed $14 for a six pack. . .I suppose we can all just join the bandwagon and blame it on covid....
