This is the kind of place that takes you completely off guard. I didn't even think about taking pictures because I was instantly immersed in a wonderful atmosphere, and all I could do was observe and take it all in.

From the service, the food, the layout of the restaurant and decor - this place is incredible! For a Friday night, we had quick and attentive service!

From what I gathered, from hearing the chatter among the restaurant, is that my boyfriend and I were one of the few (if maybe only) first time diners! Most of the other patrons were obviously regulars, and I can see why. It reminded me of a small town childhood restaurant I'd frequent, where the waiters knew the customers by name and even knew their preferred orders! I feel like this concept is so lost these days. It was comforting and just made me, overall, so happy to see places like this still exist ❤️

I wasn't super hungry, so I just stuck with an avocado roll and the oshinko maki (pickled radish). They were the perfect size for a light 5 the avocado was so fresh and creamy! If you're a sucker for pickled radish (like me), definitely give the oshinko maki a try! The crab rangoon was also very good, and my boyfriend enjoyed the rolls he ordered (dynamite and spider if memory serves).

Definitely check...

This was my first trip to Jun's and will definitely not be the last. One of the chefs greeted me as I was walking past to be seated. That was very nice. I came in with a big appetite so I wanted to try a little bit of everything. Our table got several appetizers to share. The chicken yakitori was probably the best I've ever had. It was smoky and juicy and not dried to the stick. I got the spider roll and the "crazy" roll (spicy tuna and shrimp tempura) and both were fantastic. The ingredients tasted and felt fresh and the rice was moist and sticky enough to keep the rolls tightly in place. I also appreciate that Jun's offers REAL crab meat for a small up-charge in addition to the imitation crab that most places offer. I definitely want to try more of Jun's offerings but I think I'd be hard pressed to top the meal I...

Fun environment and friendly staff. Imported beer choices are decent. They only currently have bottled beer and no beer on tap. For food I wouldn't go for the sushi or the Unagi. The food seems very tailored to the area. Where it's not very spiced and it's overly sweetened. During out visit we tried the Katsuteishoku, BBQ Eel Teishoku, Tiger Eye roll & the Spicy Salmon Roll. The unagi was one of the more sweeter versions I have had. Sadly the sushi was also not the best I've had in the area as well. I've known not to have my expectations toward sushi not to be high since moving from California but based on my experience can't reccommend the sushi or the unagi dishes. The overall environment of the resturant is nice and the staff were very kind. This would definitely be a nice hang out spot if they had...

I have been going to Jun’s consistently for the last 4 years. This place continues to exceed my expectations. I normally enjoy some hot sake as I browse the sushi menu. My favorites include the Ocean roll, the Jayhawk roll, and the Tiger Eye. I am allergic to avocado and need to customize my rolls. The servers will suggest alternatives for the avocado and the sushi chefs are very skilled even without the use of avocado. I highly recommend Jun’s and all the food! The service is great, the chefs are skilled, and you’ll feel like you’re in a hometown sushi restaurant. Check it out if you haven’t.

Jun's is one of my go-to spots, and this visit was no exception. It was my third time here, and as always, it was fantastic. We had a party of 9, but with reservations, they seamlessly accommodated us. Our server was exceptional—no mistakes, quick with refills, friendly, and all-around great. The food, as usual, was a delight. From delicious sushi, both cooked and raw, to surprising traditional Japanese dishes like curry, Jun's has it all. They even went the extra mile with a generous birthday dessert for one of our party members. We always look forward to dining at Jun's.
