Thanks to a bar and grill in Menomonie closing their doors at 1 for a private party we wandered our way to Prescott. Lucky for us we did. We found this perfect gem right on the main drag. One item on their menu told us this was a have to try place. Cheeseburger wontons! Parking on this stretch of the street is usually at a premium but it looks to be there are some other places you can park and walk to this great little Bar and Grill. 1 heads up, don't expect fancy cocktails here. It's strictly beer and wine. But they whip up a very tasty and mean fruit sangria. And their beer selection is quite vast as well. Back to the food! At first glance it seems like typical bar food. But get that thought out of your head right away. The cheeseburger wontons I mentioned earlier are an absolute must! We also had half rack of the dry rub ribs and also brisket both were platters that come with two sides and toast. The ribs were fall off the bone and delicious. The brisket simply melted in your mouth no need for a knife just let the fork slide through it. The barbecue sauce was some of the best we've ever had. Will definitely be going back to try some of the other menu items. This is one of the most impressive restaurants we've been to in a long time. On a side note the staff there is absolutely stellar. We sat by the front window watching the crazy bikers go to the bar across the street. This is a very interesting place. Also note, we ordered a couple orders of the cheeseburger wontons to go. The chef came out and asked us how we wanted them prepared which is something you don't normally see. We chose to let her finish things completely with sauce on the side and we could just reheat them in a toaster oven. There is a patio out back with a view of the river below. It was a little hot on our visit there with the sun shining directly down on it. So we stayed inside, which was more fun and entertaining anyway. this place deserves more than the five stars you...

I was near by and stopped in for lunch with three people. We were seated immediately and the waitress gave us menus. They have a nice variety of items compared to places I usually go so the menu took me awhile to look through. I got the nachos and a chicken chipotle sandwich, my niece got Mac N Cheese, my sister had the street tacos, my dad had the BBQ brisket sandwich.
We cut portions up and all tried some of each others meal. Everything was delicious, not just good but absolutely delicious. The Nachos were a bit unique, seasoned well, heaped with toppings and some of the best I have ever had. My nice helped me eat them and her mom remarked that she usually doesn't eat that much. The chicken sandwich was amazing with a thick jucy breast, thick bacon, Swiss, lettuce, tomato and chipotle sauce. The street tacos (steak) were fantastic, nice soft shells with delicious fillings. The brisket sandwich was once again one of the best I have ever had, the brisket was tender and delicious. Even the Mac and cheese was extremely good, home made with real cheese melted on top. The fries were good, not the greatest but good none the less.
The service was excellent and the server was friendly. I didn't need to ask for anything because she was on top of things. The price was very good, you get a lot of delicious food for your money here.
I don't get to Prescott often but I know when I come through again I will be...
Read moreFood quality is as high as it gets, which is interesting since it’s a small local bar. Tonight my wife and I each had steamed pork belly bao buns for a starter. WOW! Then we split a bowl of Pho (traditional Hmong rice noodle soup) and some sushi rolls. We love Pho and have tried it at many local St Paul restaurants where the grandmother was in the back cooking it. The roadhouse version is the real deal! And the sushi? Forget about it. Better than most sushi places around. So fresh you can distinguish the flavor of all the ingredients in the rolls while eating them. Well, we couldn’t finish it all, and took some of the sushi home and they gave us more broth to add to the rice noodles (who does that?). Oh yea, it was under $50. This is our new favorite place! We live about 20-25 min away, but worth the drive if you are debating the trip. They only make Pho every other week on Wed Thurs and Fri. We are adding that note to our calendar! Service was also excellent. The place was full and we sat at the bar, got our order in within first 10 min and we were served within the next 15 min. Thanks Mel and the entire team...
