Prescott Beach — Attraction in Prescott

This beach is not dog friendly, so my puppy hung out in the grass along with other dogs, which was fine I guess. It’s a nice beach. The St. Croix is decently clean along with the sand. There are lifeguards on duty and they make you get out of the water every hour. I didn’t like it, but it makes sense since there are a lot of little kids. Came with our flotation devices and was disappointed to find out that NONE of them are allowed....not even water wings! No alcohol is allowed. Public swimming pools have fewer rules. Stay away from the bathrooms as they are disgusting beyond belief. Every time I've been there there hasn't been any lifeguards despite a sign saying so. Otherwise a nice beach with cleaner water and smaller crowds, plus some nice shade and it's a lot quieter then the other nearby beach. Another plus is the parking is free unlike the aforementioned other beach. Great place to bring family,...
