Update: It's been two years since I went to this establishment. Honestly I completely forgot about my rating and I was just looking for something to eat. Non coincidentally I ordered pretty much the same thing minus the soup. I did get the fried shrimp though. It was alright. A little too oily for my taste, and the flavor just wasn't there. The oil was probably old as I could taste a bitterness in the back of my throat. It's really unfortunate that the food is still pretty bad 2 years later. I had to give three stars instead of two however, because the kind woman behind the counter was really sweet and it seemed like she was doing most of the work. She did seem to have a hard time walking so I kind of felt bad. I do wish establishments could just read reviews and try to make it a little better for the sake of getting better reviews. Unfortunately that's just not the case. The rice had a really strange taste to it almost like it was old and had been sitting for a while. And the sesame chicken was again oily with too much breading, and I could also taste the old grease in that as well. The price for this meal was $13.41. I will say the food was super hot so there's that. Overall the experience was pretty much the same as 2 years ago. I'm going to remember that I didn't exactly like it, and hope that they do a little better next time.
One entree, a side of rice, and a large soup cost over 18 dollars. The soup was bland, yet oily. Needed more salt. The sesame chicken had way too much breading and not enough chicken. Seemed like they triple breaded it. The broccoli was almost uncooked. Won't...
Read moreRead moreFirst off, they are brand new to our area.. I have tried a few times and only thing with them is you wait for ever to get food, doesn't matter if picking up or dining in. I called to have it delivered and they said no deliveries that night, so I placed order to pick up, they said 15 minutes, I gave them 25 and got there to nothing being ready..!! sat there over another 10-15 minutes to then see the Delivery driver walk in from taking out deliveries..WTH.!! so they lied to me about delivery and the time to make it, while waiting there are several other people waiting for their food as well, some even got the wrong order, I called to speak to a manager or super on duty, and of course they say no one there. If they are going to want business then they need to be prepared for it to be busy and if they advertise that they deliver then they need to make sure and have someone deliver the food, if they say 15 minutes for it to be ready-- within 5 minutes at least.. then it needs to be ready..!! the food was sub par.. this is somewhere I will not...
Would not recommend. Spent almost $50 for orange chicken, chicken fried rice, general tso's chicken and sweet buns. The orange chicken and general tsos chicken were more like a soup. They were sitting in so much oil/juice or whatever it was. Couldnt tell the difference between the 2. They tasted no different and was extremely bland. Not to mention I feel like it was all just breading and no actual chicken. Chicken fried rice was ok at best. For those that didnt know (I did not) a sweet bun is just essentially a fried roll sprinkled in cinnamon and sugar.. It was ok.
When I walked in the door to pick up my order the guy was bussing a table and looked at me and I said hey hows it going, he said nothing back. He then went around the counter and finally asked what I wanted. (Not a huge deal but at least respond).
Food came out pretty quickly, was nice and hot. Just didnt taste good at all. I will not be returning and would...
