Tres gallos — Restaurant in Texas

I always get the carnitas and barbacoa tacos with onion and cilantro on corn. They are to die for! Definitely the best street tacos around! They put the perfect amount of meat in each taco. Super flavorful! I pretty much crave them all the time and the price and size is awesome!!! Please do yourself a favor and grace your mouth with some of these tacos! so disappointed. needed a good burrito so sent my son to pick up, he ordered 2 burritos, 1 chicken, 1 Barbados. what I got when he got home was 3 street(?) tacos, 1 dried beef I think, 1 chicken but tasted of chicken liver, blah. the 3rd was Barbados and that meat was good. 1 corn tortilla each, only chopped cilantro and onions, 2 little cups of a green and a pink sauce, and 1 lime half. all in all, very dry, bland flavor but for Barbacoa. first stop there i walked out without ordering. 2 and last stop, wrong order and not good...

Another place checked off on my "try the local businesses" list. For a newbie, it's difficult to know what to order because there's no website and no menu. We had the shrimp tacos and barbacoa tacos. Unfortunately, no fish tacos. No sides or anything even mentioned or recommended but we'll be back to see what else they have. Hostess polite but talks quietly. Owner/Chef knows his stuff.
