Worst Experience Ever with Pizza Hut
Weāve always loved Pizza Hut, but this was the most disappointing experience weāve ever had. We placed an order for a medium pepperoni pizza over the phone, and the person who took our order said it would be delivered in 30 minutes. An hour later, no pizza.
I called to check on the order and was understanding since it had started raining heavily. The gentleman who answered apologized, confirmed our phone number, and said the pizza would be on its way soon.
Another 30 minutes passed, and still no pizza. My wife called again, only to be told there was no record of our order in their system. However, they said they would call the delivery driver to check. We explained that our card had already been charged, so how could there be no order? Frustrated, we asked them to cancel the order, which they did. But this raised another question: how could they cancel an order they claim doesnāt exist?
To make matters worse, after my wife spoke with the manager, Tyler, and canceled the order, I checked our bank account. There were two pending charges for two different amounts, yet still no pizza. Tyler couldnāt explain the duplicate charges, why the pizza was never delivered, or what went wrong. His only response was, āI donāt know what happened.ā He said the store manager, Garrett, would look into it the next day.

I had to drive to the store with my baby to get the drinks myself. The second time I didn't get my 2 extra marinara sauces that i paid for. I called and apologized to them for their mistakes and the first girl I spoke with was sweet and kind. When her new supervisor or whatever got on the phone he was ready to blame me for something he knows nothing about. He started off by telling me I didn't order extra sauce , then magically saw the sauce on my receipt. I told him what I ordered matched what was on the app but the receipt. I get it $1.50 is not that serious but then he places blame on me saying if I have issues ordering on the app then I should call my order in . Despite the obvious technical issues. Then tells me "even tho this isn't our fault , I will put a $5 credit on your acct , because I'm feeling kind "... after I called him out he starts to tell me we don't have "beef" and called me "honey" ... telling me he is new trying to fix whatever issues was happening at that location. Someone needs to help him down off his high horse cause he is definitely the problem now if he wasn't before and he needs classes on how to resolve an issue . Whoever I spoke to when I had to get my drinks the first time was professional, and handled the situation like an adult with a job not like they are an immature teenager. I will never go back there again because they are the closest Pizza hut to me and I won't trust them with...

I am writing this review as I wait for the store to answer their phone (third attempt) after putting an order in via the app two hours ago. My pizza has allegedly been out for delivery for over an hour.
This is the third time in a row this type of thing has happened. I am generally understanding, given how busy it can get this time of day, and especially on certain days (like today: Friday), but at some point it becomes absolutely unacceptable.
The food itself is standard Pizza Hut affair. Generally fresh and acceptable, even when delivery runs long. There has been once or twice I've gotten bread sticks without enough seasoning, or one time that they were just kind of... not good -- but given how often I order out, I chalk infrequent experiences like that up to occasional bad luck. No restaurant is perfect.
Unfortunately, the recent significant, serious dip in customer service / has me second guessing ever ordering from them again.
My order just arrived as I finished writing this - one hour and seven minutes past the delivery notification, and one hour and forty seven minutes past the initial order.
Oh and, as I hear my doorbell go off - don't worry about clicking 'leave my order at the door.' They...
