overhyped spot with a long like wrapping around the entire restaurant. The queen on register was really nice and even though she was under stress from the busy commotion, she was able to ask me all the right questions such as iced or hot and did not rush me at all. Finding a seat here was a pain and once I did, the table was not clean and the bussers took 20-30 minutes to even come out and clean it. I got a large iced honey lavender latte which came 20 minutes before my food and it was watered down, with 5 pieces of ice floating on top. In terms of taste, the latte was not outstanding by any means and definitely not 8+ dollars worth. I waited 50 minutes for my food, mind you I was a party of one and only ordered vanessa’s chicken sandwich. I asked 2 staff men kindly if there was an update on my food as numbers way ahead of me were being served first. I was brushed off by the first staff man and the second seemed alerted that my food had not come; he brought it out promptly a few seconds afterwards and at that point it was cold and my beverage had melted into a bittery watery latte. The sandwich was mid at most, with the chicken being unbearably dry. There is nothing else to write other than the taste was just disappointing for the price point; you’re better off supporting smaller and quieter shops in the surroundings than spending your money here for mid level vibes. The interior isn’t a selling price either, and the only well worthy thing to mention is the lighting from their surrounding windows. To top it off, I had to ask for water where as the tables around me had water and water cups at their disposal. Not only this, but the staff gave me a water jar without a cup so I had to ask a second staff for a water cup, to which he gave me a plastic one even though I emphasized just a standard glass water cup. I know it may not seem as a big deal in retrospect, but my experience was already unpleasant and this was a test of redemption, to which they failed. All in all, don’t go here....
Read moreI am just rating this establishment in my experience shopping here using the “to good to go” save food app. while using this app, you can get a surprise bag by purchasing in advance for a lesser amount of money. Supposedly for foods that different establishments have left over at the end of the day when I purchased the surprise bag from MAMAN The price I paid was a little higher than usual. It came to around $6 dollars with tax. Supposedly you were getting $18 worth of goodies for six dollars. I drove all the way to Princeton to pick up my surprise bag. I was indeed, surprised. The worker asked what looked to be the manager what she should put in the bag. The bag was not ready for me to pick up. He pointed to a few things, and the worker bagged up the order. There were two little bags one held a cupcake that by time I got home, the frosting was off the other bag, contained a croissant and a slice of chocolate cake that was broken into crumbly pieces by the time I got home, I have ordered from this app in the past and I have gotten big bags of goodies. This place should not be on this app. It certainly was not $18 worth of goodies, In my opinion, definitely not worth the trip. So, if you have this app and you’re looking to get a goodie bag from . MAMAN Save yourself the time and...
Read moreFour of us went for breakfast. Two orders came out good. The third one, despite 3 times repeating my order, came out wrong: instead of plain omelet with a side of pico de gayo, it came mixed as an omelet. This is OK as mistakes happen but it took forever for the correct order to came out. The fourth order was Terese sandwich but the salat smelled moldy. We had asked to change it and the the person who seems to be the manager suggested will bring another fresh Therese sandwich but with fresh/smashed avocado instead of the salad. We said yes and thanked him. This took forever, but instead of the Therese sandwich they brought toast with avocado and pico de gati on top. Once we told the manager, he said this is what you ordered. I mean we did pay for it and he did not want to change it, so we got it. I guess what I am trying to say is, it was a very bad service and we will not be coming back to the Princeton location any more. Note we love Maman and do visit the Greenwich CT and NYC locations where the service and food is impeccable. Our advise would be to actively listen to your customers when taking the orders and/or making up for a faulty...
