Day's West Side Cafe — Restaurant in Pringle

Burgers were great - well seasoned, well cooked, and definitely made in-house. Fries were mid at best, a little soggy. Place was dead on a Saturday night, which was surprising as our food took quite a while to arrive. One bartender was quick to set us up with drinks but took FOREVER to get back to us, and really didn't check in at all. The other bartender was wandering around looking absolutely miserable and didn't say much. Both staffers stood and joked about things on their phone while we were waiting for a drink refill and our check. Drinks Not Cold and Rude Service

I recently visited West side cafe and was disappointed with the experience. I ordered two drinks, which were not cold, but I let it slide and drank them. When I ordered another two, I politely mentioned that they were warm, hoping for colder drinks this time. Instead of addressing the issue, the bartender rudely said, “It’s already in the cooler; what can I do?” I wasn’t asking for much—just properly chilled drinks, which should be standard. The dismissive attitude was unnecessary and made the experience unpleasant. A little effort to address customer concerns can go a long way. I used to go to Huns and then the food and the stench in the bar went downhill. They keep the same menu as the former owner had yet the food has changed, drastically. It tastes just as greasy as the place smells when you walk through the first doors. It stinks like someone is either cleaning with greasy rags or the fryer grease hasn't been changed in forever.
