Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Prosper

I’ve had great experiences with other locations and love the product, but we ordered three cakes and a mini bundt for my son’s 10 year birthday. Let me be clear, we ordered ahead. Upon arriving, I was notified that they were out of the mini bundts in the flavor we had ordered. Again, we ordered these ahead of time. Why wouldn’t they set one aside with our order??? Anyway, the clerk and the manager said sorry and refunded me for the missing cake. That doesn’t help with the missing cake. Now, we have discovered that one of the large cakes wasn’t as ordered either. Overall, really disgusted with this location. When we called back, my wife was told by Kevin that it wasn’t his job. A non-sympathetic sorry doesn’t really help with our birthday party tomorrow.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the operator after my review and she fully refunded my charges for the order and promised to work on training her team. I see this as a satisfactory response. I’ve changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars...

Google should have a "0" score for these surveys to be applied when necessary. I had the worst experience with Nothing Bundt Cake Prosper location. I ordered birthday cup cakes for the first time to a surprise birthday party for my wife and they lost the order. No one could find the name, order confirmation or name associated with the order. They didn't have it when my daughter went to pick it up. The lady manager took the phone from tye employee and found the order which turned out to have been scheduled for two days later. This lady offered a refund "If were were unhappy", and "go get it somewhere else". My wife has ordered cakes for several years for each family meember on their birthdays, graduations etc. This was such an unprofessional and arrogant response and that was my first and last time...

I stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes while feeling pretty rough from allergies and travel, but the experience completely turned my day around. I was greeted by a genuinely kind and upbeat team member (strawberry blonde hair — I wish I’d gotten her name!) who took the time to chat and share a laugh with me while I picked out my favorite flavor.

Her kindness and positivity were contagious — it’s rare to have such an authentic, uplifting interaction these days. That small gesture and great conversation reminded me that there are still wonderful people out there.

Because of her, this location has earned a lifelong customer. The cakes are always amazing, but it’s moments like this that make a business truly stand out. Thank you for making my day a whole lot sweeter — literally and...
