This place we have been going to for the last 2 plus years. Last week we ordered a dozen poppyseed bagels.. They gave us all sesame bagels, which we discovered when we got home. The slip they rang it up on said all poppyseed. We wanted all poppyseed bagels. I called and the man in charge told me to come in this week and get a dozen free poppyseed to replace the ones we did not get. My husband now went over there to get the bagels and they proceeded to charge him. He was suppose to get the right poppyseed bagels. We asked for a manager and they said there was no one there. My husband told them off for charging us when they were suppose to comp the bagels. Then the guy behind the counter wanted to fight my husband. This is suppose to be a Christian place. I dont know if they sold the place or what? We won't be going back due to the worker not listening to my husband. I had called and they said come over for the replacement bagels today. So we are very upset how the employee treated my husband. Also they keep messing up our order so we don't get the right stuff. We have let that slide for months. But this was the last straw. I won't deal with this place if they treat...
Read moreThe Asiago bagel was very chewy and wasn’t cut evenly, the bottom layer was very thin-top layer very thick. The bagel didn’t taste like it had been toasted, the bacon was chewy and while ordering I noticed a red haired female associate reaching/touching the cooked eggs with her bare hands. I initially asked about how the eggs were cooked, two guys didn’t really know and the girl walked over and picked an egg out of the container with her bare hands then said they’re cooked one way-apparently fried? I noticed her nails were designed with bright purple nail polish.. Then the guy who made my bagel reached into the same basket that she had touched and retrieved my egg from there-I’m not sure if it was the same one she touched🥴. All the other associates behind the counter wore gloves, she didn’t because it seemed she worked the drive thru window but kept walking back and forth-from the window to prep counter. I hate that I spent $10 in this place because the staff didn’t seem to friendly they were busy talking amongst themselves-with the exception of the dark haired guy who rang me up; I’ll definitely pick another place to get breakfast the next time I visit that...
Read moreLet me start with the positives. The bagels are good, real good. Much better than what the chains typically offer. Right combination of crunchy and chewy.
Service at the drive through wasn't great though. My bagels were barely toasted. My family all ended up retoasting our bagels when I got them home. Also, all the spreads were provided on the side, in little plastic containers. Same with the coffee; sugar and creamer are all provided separately. Fine for today when I was grabbing to bring home to my family, but will make it hard to grab and go on the way to work. They also messed up my order slightly, giving me butter instead of the cream cheese I asked for, but guessing stuff like that would improve once they are open a little longer and hit their stride.
I'll definitely give them another try, but I'll most likely stick to getting a dozen for the office rather than daily breakfast for myself unless the service improves some.
Update: I've gone back multiple times since the first review, and they've definitely tightened up their service since my first time there. Bagel are still delicious, and the service has been great. This is easily my go to...
