I went to Popeye's Chicken on Tuesday to get 2 chicken breast on 10/17/17 @ 9:19pm and the workers didn't even know I walked in to the front counter, and was ready to order. I stood there for about 3 minutes before a young male worker notice me. So he finally asked me what did I want to order and I replied I would like two chicken breast. He then said I am sorry we are out of chicken and we are not cooking anymore. I then asked him well what time do you close here and he said 10PM I said really it is 9:19PM and you are not cooking anymore chicken, and he said yes. So that is when some tom boyish Latino girl came up and said how can I help you , I said I want two chicken breast, she then replied , we don't have any right now and we are not cooking anymore. At that point I was quite upset but I was trying to keep calm the best I could and then I replied what do you have left the tom boyish girl(appeared to be management of some kind) said all we have left is chicken tenders and shrimp. Then I asked the male cashier how much is 4 chicken tenders and he is it was $4 or something and I said no if I am gonna pay that much I want chicken breast because that cost like around $5. The girl said sorry we are not cooking anymore. Then the young male cashier noticed another customer waiting for chicken and he pointed him to the tom boyish manager female. Then I made it a point about and I asked her why are you cooking his chicken she then replied saying well he ordered before you. So I grew beyond angry and I asked the manager what is the number to corporate and she wrote a number down and said this is the number to our district manager.The number she gave me , it appeared that she gave a number to a person that didn't even work at Popeye's or have anything to do with Popeye's when I called the number the next day which was 10/18/17. So I got mad all over again and called the store number and the call didn't even go through or either they don't answer it. So I tried to call the store six more time and the call would never go through. So I got so mad I went all the from McKinney up there to Prosper and I asked to speak to a manager and a young female came to me and said can I help you and I told her what happened to me cause my blood was boiling and my blood pressure shot up and I had forgot to even to tell her what is wrong with the phones here. The manager said that she can't do anything about what happened to me on 10/17/17 and then she told me that the general manager is not here right now but he or she will be here at 5:00pm(she told me this at 3:34pm) and then asked me would I like to wait and did you know she didn't even offer me a drink or anything she looked like she didn't even care to be honest. They need to just shut this place down, all these complaints plus mine??? They need to just shut place down and put one back in McKinney, TX , the one down off of Elder ado Parkway & Lake Forrest in McKinney,TX.    Read moreWhere do i start, it's my second bad experience at this location, i said let me give them a try maybe first time they where overwhelmed, but i wish i didn't, first i order at 10:10am i arrived at 10:45am the website and application and the sign on the door said they open at 10. So the drive through have a hand written sign system is down please order inside, so i parked and went the door was locked i knocked and the manager told me to wait with her 12" finger nail, i waited in the cold watching here talking on here mobile for about 5 min then she opened the door, i said it's ok maybe she's talking to the system support or the 'IT' to fix there issue for the drive through system, i waited she kept talking then i realized it was personal phone call, so i told here i need my order and gave here the order # i asked is it ready, she logged in to the system and printed my order but for somereason she asked to see it on my phone then she asked the employee to do the order while reading my order from my phone she stoped and left to continue her personal phone call and hid next to the drive through register, the employee was waiting for her to finish reading him my order so i told the employee what i orderd and he start preparing it, with the same gloves that god knows how long he was wearing it, used the same scoop for mashed potato in the gravy, removed the bread from the bad throws it at the dirty line then inside the toaster then on the line to add the items with the same gloves touched the chicken the bread the sandwich the mashed potato scoop, after repeating the order for the employee 3 times to get it right, he removed the gloves and start filling the fries without any gloves for extra flavorđŤŁ, putting the order in the bag i was in shockđ¤˘đ¤˘, i left 11:20 am for simple 2 sandwiches and 2 fries 1 mashed potato and she still on here PERSONAL phone call and there was 3 customers behind me no one cared to assist them, no wonder the google review 2.5 stars it should be -1000 starts they need to change the manager ASAP and get new trained team.
Honestly, i couldn't eat the food after what i witnessed, i gave it to the other customer, wished him luck with his order, and left đ
I don't know how the health inspector didn't shut down this place. Working without gloves, manager with 12" gel nails extention, i have no idea if she's able to put the gloves on Tea without covers, line was dirty and boxes, bags everywhere

   Read moreSaddest excuse of a restaurant, if I could rate below 1 Star I definitely would , waited 15 mins for our food, man in all black came to our car asked what number was on our receipt as if they were not already preparing our food for the 15 mins we were parked took our receipt back inside about 5 mins later came back out with just our food no drinks in hand for some reason, as we were checking our bag they forgot the mashed potatoes we finally receive all our food get home and realize we were given all classic chicken sandwiches when we made it clear the first time the man came outside to get our ticket what was wanted on our SPICY chicken sandwiches and later to see we were not given any spicy sandwiches but all regular , the red beans and rice was mostly just rice with the smallest amount of beans all of our sandwiches were dry had no pickles or condiments. When we called back up to the store it took 3 rings for someone to finally answer it when the phone was answered the man on the phone answered with a â whatâs up â and when asked for his name he proceeded to go back and forth with âwhatâs your nameâ and avoided the question then finally hung the phone up after claiming he was the manager, when we called back he rudely answered âyo stop calling this phoneâ we called from another phone because they were no longer answering and someone new picked the phone up who stated his name was Jacob and a regular employee no manager named Isaac was the one who answered the phone, we believe both names given were incorrect as he hesitated to say names and after asking to speak to a manager again they proceeded to hang up. This is very unacceptable for a restaurant, customer service is absolutely terrible not sure if any managers were around but if so that is absolutely absurd to let employees do all of that foolishness and let it happen. -10/10 definitely do not recommend this place unless you love terrible...
