I've read through a few reviews and was surprised by such poor reviews. I normally would not visit an establishment based on their reviews but since the resturant is rather new my family and I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did! To start the resturants name is Las Palomas and on that note I had to order a Original Paloma and it definitely lived up to its name it was hands down one of the best Palomas I've ever had with the perfect mix of not too sweet and fresh citrus which really put it over the top. My daughter and I ordered Birria de res and it was full of flavor and I snagged a few bites of my husband's camarones con tocino and the sauce that came with it was amazing and had a great level of spice to it which us a MUST for me. My toddler son who always refuses to eat more than 4 bites of any meal loved the frijoes and arroz. The tortillas were homemade and if you want authentic homestyle Mexican food then this is the resturant to try. Our waitress was sweet and I know this establishment is new so maybe it needed to iron out a few quirks to get it right. Id you've tried this place in the past I'd give it a try again if you're thinking of trying it you won't be disappointed! I...

My visit to Las Palomas in Prosser exceeded my expectations in every way. I had a brief period of time to get lunch and was advised by a colleague to give this restaurant a try. My lunch was on the table in a little over ten minutes, fresh and well presented. The cuisine was authentic as opposed to assembly line Mexican food offered by many places. The dish was excellently prepared and the ingredients used were noticeably fresh, (I had the Enchiladas Mexicanas). The different flavors and textures of the meal were distinct but blended perfectly, where other places may drown a recipe in a bland mix of sauce and inferior ingredients. To put it simply, the food is fast and fantastic. As for the service, I was greeted at the door, sat promptly, given time to order, and checked on frequently enough that I did not have to wait for anything but not so often that my meal was disturbed. For anyone living near the Prosser area or even for those just passing through, I highly recommend taking the time to stop and sample the menu at...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is beyond 10 star quality.... OMGOSH it is absolutely FABULOUS....we are truckers from Texas - so to say we KNOW good Mexican food is an understatement....we travel coast to coast and have eaten mexican food from Pennsylvania to Washington to California to Florida and every point in between and this lil family restaurant is TOP NOTCH. Birria is some of the BEST ever...super tender and moist and their own secret recipe....mmmm 😋 satisfies your taste buds so wonderfully. I had the chicken tacos and they are absolutely amazing too. Bianca is very good, patient, and on top of her game. Ask for her, you wont be disappointed. Yolanda is the owner and she TRULY cares about her guests and makes sure you enjoy your food and is very attentive to your questions and curiosity. We had never tried the different waters so she was kind enough to bring us samples of pineapple water, rice water, cucumber and hibiscus....they are all wonderful. Truly an EXCELLENT place. Go try them - you'll be so glad you did....

The food was great and reasonably priced. I ordered a chili relleno in salsa with beans and rice and a cheese enchilada. The chips and salsa were wonderful. I did add a little bit of the chili paste off of the table to spice up the salsa. The servers were friendly however I wasn't even given a napkin until I asked for it 3/4 of the way through my meal. They did get my order wrong but fixed it quickly. That's why they received the three. I would definitely recommend if you're coming through. Prosser Washington stop for a great Mexican meal.

I was debating on this review. (Photos included) 1st thing first, I ordered sliced avocado ($3) and that's what I got. Second, the place was at 83 degrees inside, I saw the temp gauge. Third, I got this in a bag that was tilted, leaked everywhere! I had to put it in a second bag so it would not leak. This is the worst mexican restaurant I have eaten at. I spent $30+ dollars, and I tipped $2 for a 2go order, I should have kept the money. Unbelievable 😡. Way overpriced. For this meal and experience, I should have payed maybe 18 dollars.
