This used to be one of our yearly trips with a bunch of friends. Not so much any more. We came in April and it was a really bad experience then. We got there and there was no one in the office, and some one had parked in our spot. I spent about an hour calling ALL the numbers listed and going around d knocking on doors. No one ever got back to me EVER! We just parked in a different spot and it worked out. The grass areas were all torn up where it looked like they were taking out or putting in sprinklers and the grass was long, so big stumble factor. This time it was July and when I called I reminded them of our crummy last experience and he just said "that's to bad" maybe that why I got charged more, because I complained,lol...however he said I was charged more for this stay because there would be an art walk, oh here at the park, I asked, no in town... The office store used to have tons of fun stuff and you got a wine glass with your stay, they would also have a couple wineries in Fri and Sat evenings to do a free tasting. No fun stuff in the office/store, hardly even the bare minimums. Didn't bother with the wine tasting, they only had 1 winery per Sat and Sun. The grass area between sights where still a trip hazard, very uneven ground. Although many people did have green grass, mostly weeds really. Our spot was level but very little green grass/weeds. There was a lot of bare dirt because the sprinkler didn't work at our sight. Bath rooms, showers at the club house had not been scrubbed down in quite a while it looked like. We may give it 1 more chance, only because as a group we are hopeful, but have already started looking for a replacement rv park. This is so sad, because it was such a beautiful, fun, very well run park before it was sold to the current owners. Hope they figure it out soon or sell to someone else.

Finally found an RV park that understands what RVers want! Events with wine tastings, clean swimming pool and hot tub, beautiful grounds, and an *outstanding* staff eager to help with just about anything! Seriously - I even saw the manager come out to help someone unhook their tow vehicle - absolutely amazing service! And the setting is just as mind-blowing: located in the heart of wine country with hills all around, a river running through town, alpacas, a wide (and mostly unused) bike path leading to the next town, and all the sunshine and beautiful weather you can stand! Got friends who don't have an RV? No problem - they even have beautiful RV rentals on-site! So what are you waiting for? See you at WINE COUNTRY RV PARK! UPDATE 2022: after 3 years, this RV Park is still our favorite vacation spot, with fantastically fun event weekends and amazing staff to ensure everything is great! It’s reassuring to us, to have such attentive employees, making sure safety rules are followed for everyone’s safety. Their caring ensures we *all* have fun while staying safe (except self-induced hangovers, of course!). So we applaud this marvelous group of people working at Wine Country RV for all their vigilance and hard work!! It’s no wonder you’ve earned the 10-10-10 rating for several years, with several more to come, I’m sure! ❤️

This used to be an amazing place to stay.Updated review (again) after a recent visit. Do not trust the online booking system- it will tell you the park is full when it isn’t. Best way to make a reservation is to call - but you’ll need to call multiple times because no one answers the phone or returns calls. We come to Prosser twice a year - we stay here because it’s the only RV park in town. This used to be a nice park, very well maintained. One of the pool access gates has been chained shut for over a year (broken lock); the hot tub hasn’t worked in 6 years (cones around it create a lovely aesthetic) - a new feature this year was multiple broken pool chairs and maintenance equipment being left out around the pool area. Dead hanging flower baskets, weeds and broken sprinklers. It’s the only game in town as far as RV parks go - I’m guessing that combined with an increasing number of full time guests is what keeps them afloat. Gone is the on site shop that used to be super great with all kinds of fun stuff and convenience items - now, just a few items stocked. We love the town of Prosser - it’s sad that this park has declined so much since the new owners took over. From poor customer service to the decline of the grounds - you’ll pay premium prices for a less than premium park.

This place was terrible do not go here and waste your money their customer service sucks we had a spot paid for we were in the wrong spot apparently we're there all night until almost 10 in the morning instead of letting us know that we were in the wrong spot or calling us before we left they drug our tents and supplies across the ground not securing them backed up there were rips all over our new tenants and instead of even getting to apologizing they blame us for not being the correct spot from the beginning but why wouldn't they just tell us that they we were not at the beginning of the night or before we left in the morning because they noticed that we were still there at 7 a.m. and they asked the guard to move their stuff but why weren't we not contacted the equipment was ruined 3 tents were completely unusable broken equipment for what was left in there don't waste your time with this place to even add more guilt to the situation I am now contacted that I acted angrily and was not a good customer but it wasn't even me who went to go talk to them it was my girlfriend's sister's boyfriend this again shows how the staff was completely treated us unfair and they did not secure our stuff I have multiple pictures if you would like multiple pictures of what you did to our tents and equipments I would be more than happy to send those copies and photos to the company since they have already messed up who they supposedly had an argument with how do you even know what you actually did to our equipment I had not once had contact with any of the staff it just goes to show you these people are horrible and should not waste your time with them another that really bother me we have phone records you say you made calls we were sleeping until 830 and left by 900am neaver did the my girlfriend mom was contacted but they did not come to our site once to tell us are you says that 8 people that were sleeping there that night not one of them was told we have phone records if the owners would like to see this I will be happy to show them we have pictures to show all damages and proof that you and you staff handles this...

The site we were given was not the one reserved. Not the end of the world, not ideal.||The "wine tasting" events at the RV park were cancelled, they said, because they were out of tasting cups. We thought it had to be a joke. Considering this was supposedly one of the perks of this place, not a good look.||The septic pipe at our site was non-functional. It appeared that a camper prior to us got their septic hose fitting lodged in the pipe, thus making it impossible for us to fit ours to the system. We tried to remove it ourselves with the tools we had, but it didn't work. Not wanting to break anything, we contacted the office for maintenance to fix it. They said they would send someone. No one showed up the entire 4 days. Luckily, our friend had an adapter we could use, to make our hose fit for the duration. Not only did they not correct the problem (and a service we were PAYING FOR), they did not offer a refund or an alternate solution, such as a different fully functional site. The only way we were able to make it work was through our own resources, while paying them for a service they did not deliver.||When we returned home, the next business day there was a miscellaneous charge for $11.95, from the RV park. No explanation or email describing damages, additional fee assessed, nothing. We contacted them online and via phone, still with no response. Perhaps this charge was for the septic fitting that was stuck in the pipe when WE arrived? Who knows how many people they have back-charged after the fact, who just never caught it on their credit card statement? ||We went to this place on the recommendation of friends, but we should have looked at the reviews. It looks like our friends must have been going to the park in 2022 and prior, because every review 2023 and after appears to be crap. The fees are outrageous, even when you actually GET the amenities and services they advertise, which we did not. DON'T...
